Lake Highlands High School is not in Richardson. Its in Dallas several miles away from the Richardson city limits, but in the Richarson isd. I becha some of the Berkner football players live in Garland. Same deal

The Dragons will show up at Wildcat / Rams Stadium whether Lake Highlands has a coach or not.....

Lake Highlands has always had good athletes & a winning tradition, more so than any of the RISD schools..I would think it would be a good spot for any good coach.

the harder i work, the luckier i get to pay more taxes so someone unluckier than me doesn't have to work so hard
No one needs luck or even best wishes when all are pulling in the same direction
    let's get'r done-cs rip

Not a bad pick. Scott Smith did a solid job as Plano's DC for a few years. Just wish he would of blizted on occassion against SLC in the Playoff's. I think it would of kept them a little of balance. Plano's athletic secondary could of held up on 1 on 1 coverage for a few plays.

Bad timing on the move. Any news on Plano's new DC?

I believe the new DC will be the Stewart. He was the seconday coach and did a tremendous job. Very knowledgable and the kids seem to really respect and play hard for him. Good choice in my opinion

Plano still needs to add one more to their staff. I saw that Robert Woods resigned from Thomas Jefferson it said that he retired. It would be nice if
Brence would give him a call and see his interest in coming back. Next to Kimbrough and Clark he was the best coach Plano ever had on their staff over the last 30 years in my opinion. Won 2 state titles as DC in the 80's. Won State championship at Wilmer Hutchins.

I had heard rumors that the Berkner DC was up for the job but like I said, it was just rumors. Good hire for LH but he doesn't have long to get his team ready for a district that will be TOUGH!
