I wanted to use my first post to extend congratulations to the Katy Tigers. Two heavyweights went toe to toe today and the Tigers emerged victorious. I wish you luck next week. We were treated to somethng very special. Thank you to both teams.

Hah, good to hear. I didn't want to ruin your good day. I'll be seeing the crew at a certain venue in Dallas.

They have been known to make mistakes and Katy will have to capitalize on those.
Chill plays in the toughest district in the state IMO.
Their losses have been to Allen, Desoto, a very good team from Florida and Mansfield so while they have 4 losses 3 were to top teams. Mansfield was good this year but that is a game they should have won.
    Hope that trend continues.

Unlike this week against Steele I haven't seen a single thing on Cedar Hill but I do have 3 games (Desoto, Booker T, and South Grand Prairie) on Time Warner on demand. Watching Desoto game now. Hoping to see the Westlake game once Westlake TV gets it up on the net. Not much to say until I see the 4 games.
I'll say this - our Region's D2 champion is probably the team to beat in rounds 5&6 - Good Knight

All I can say is, while we'll be at Jerry World next year, Katy will be nowhere to be seen and won't win R3 next year. They'll suck next year and mark my words! - SCBuffKnight

Fleabag and I better not cross paths or it is not gonna end nicely for him and I will need some bail money! I have not wanted to whoop someone's @ss this bad in a long, long time! - Clemensbuff

Cedar Hill basically runs the same offense as North Shore (do it more effectively). Zone read from gun and pistol.

Hard to call. I think CH offense is better than Steele's. CH should have score 40+ on Westlake today(made mistake they never make). Would like to see more vid on Katy. Running back is big but he really does not impress me; however, he is better than Westlake's running backs. Katy's oline looks impressive(seem a little butterball but may be the lense. I'm watching early season games, so I'm sure they are better. I think CH can D Katy's run game. Have to play smart. As long as CH contain the edge and don't over play the strong they can give Katy some issues when they are running of tackle and then running their counters. If anyone knows where full length Katy games are located let me know.

I do know we will not be kicking it deep again... CHill ATH Laquvionte Gonzalez is a dynamic player with the ball in his hands... a shiftier Stockton, maybe as fast. Similar build, but would guess Laquvionte is a little smaller. Doesn't see the touches that Stockton does.

I hope that they prayed for Katy’s health in that end of the game prayer. Lord knows they (and we) need it.

This will be a premier matchup. Great defense vs. great defense. I talked with some locals after the game and they had a lot of good things to say about CH.

I think this one will be low scoring for Katy.

    Katy 30
    CH 17

looking forward to the madisonville bucees stop. that is one of the few bucees i haven't been to yet.
