5ATF site saved? ALL UPDATES HERE.

So I've been reading that a lot is being done to save this site from closing. Is there any updates? If so I wanted to make a thread where we can all come and post any updates if we are aware of them and the users can read.

All my support to the KT team and the people trying to save this site!

Keep only good news coming Dada! We in Cy Land are going over to Facebook but I don't have HOF status there - just one of the guys. One of our gang started a FB - 5a Football - a few of us there already. I would still prefer this site over anything else but we have to take what we can and we have to connect before we are forced into this unwanted divorce

I also didn't like the options as I looked around, so I created TexasHighSchoolGridiron.com
I realize that 5a is the cream of the crop and that another board will not measure up to the quality we have here.

We are statewide and growing every day (now with 65 registered posters) Good luck no matter where you end up.

we have received several inquiries from people interested in taking over operation of the site and we are working with them to determine the best way forward. There are no guarantees that any one of them will work out, but we wanted to let y'all know that there is some positive momentum building to keep the site alive. We would love for the site to continue without us, but we want to ensure that it lands in the most capable, most caring hands possible to keep things running at least as well as they have been and hopefully even better. We will let you know how things progress.

Wow, much love and admiration to Jeremy and the Caldwells for keeping this resource open for us, it's a shame it's ending, too bad we couldn't throw some subscription money their way to keep this place open.

It will be sad to see this place go, it's been such a valued resource and great place to chat with like minded people. Will miss the input and incite the KT's shared over the years
