What I laugh at is people like you that live with the rose colored glasses on with the premise that just because you did have two great seasons, mainly due to having two of the best players the San Antonio area has seen on one team in quite some time, you think you have an automatic admittance to the Region 4 Finals every year for eternity. Steele has some quality players. They have a great coaching staff. But what they haven't proven is whether they can maintainthat excellence "post Armstrong". Until I see that occur, you braggart attitude is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. You'll be able to "talk the talk" during the regular season because you have one of the weakest schedules in the area. Please don't try sugar coating that one. You have who, East Central that may give you a decent game? I'm sure Steele will get tested during the non-district games, but the first two are nothing more than glorified scrimmages with coaches still figuring out their line ups and strategies. Madison went what, 0 - 3 in their non-district games, and look where they ended up in the playoffs after improving during against their district opponents. Steele? The hardest part of their games will be having to ride 4 or more hours round trip on a school bus to play a bunch of sub-par Corpus teams. They'll make it to the playoffs. That's a no brainer. Let's just see how deep they'll get this season. Mark this date, and we'll see whose right or wrong come November.
