    Default Florida Spring game

Gilleslee is FAST. Gilleslee cant passblock. I can see Florida being extremely creative with him. Very real weapon but man he needs to put some meat on his bones.

Floridas D is very fast but they don't wrap up a whole lot. There are a lot of collisions where the ball carrier keeps moving. That could spell trouble with Mizzou and TAMU rolling out high tempo passing offenses.

It seems like Floridas RB's will try to traverse the whole field for yards rather than lower their head and get after it. Its bit them in the but two times now and its only 3 minutes in.

Tyler Murphy has WHEELS! Interesting option as a QB. Dropped back but you can see his head look towards weakside DE and watch him start a twist and he just bolts. No tackling QB in spring game but he started lowering his shoulder vs a corner. I like it.

Johnson (RB) does a wonderful job of allowing blockers to set up, reading the blocks, then EXPLODING one way or the other.

Not sold on their D at all right now.

Either Florida has the weakest DL out of any team I've seen this spring or their OL (with freshman in 2 spots) is ungodly.

With how the rest of their D is looking... Florida's DL is looking pretty bad.

For a team that was supposed to have one of the best D's in the country coming back this isn't looking too good.

Floridas run game = QB keep off of zone read. All the QB's can scoot. Scary when QBs that have a touch tackle rule are tearing off 10 yard carries.

WR's are fairly elusive. Very tough over the middle.

Latroy Pittman is a very big WR. As a true freshman he has some pretty solid potential to be a contributor as the season goes on.

    At the half:

The true strength of the Florida offense is the QB + WR connection. They have been torching the defense. The WR's are rangy, tough, and very elusive. The true run game is rough. They have tremendous speed but the run game is predictable and the OL shows its youth on inside runs. However the zone read play has been great as the QB's can all run like heck. The RB's are monsters when used as lateral receiving threats, draws, and outside play.

The Ds strength is the LB corps. They are super fast and make solid reads. However like I said either the DL is super weak or the young OL is monstrous and that doesn't seem quite right. If the pass game is looking very impressive then the DB's aren't..

This years UF team has some serious offensive potential if their line is as good as they look. If its due to weak DL then im not so sure how the run game works but they are lights out passing. The defense is squishy. They make great reads but rely on man so much that the WR's are always a step or two ahead and in a passing duel that leads to serious problems.

Amarius Hines (Spelling?) is a monster. RB/WR and he is tearing it up as each. Seems like every time there is a big play they are calling his name.

Mr. Hines was a flat out monster. He definitely looks to have added some big boy weight though. He was looking pretty stout.
