Denton Guyer Wildcats! We're back and ready to kick some 4A butt

Denton Guyer head coach John Walsh confirmed that offensive lineman Patrick Morris committed to TCU on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound junior is the second non-binding commitment for the Horned Frogs so far in the 2013 class. Arlington linebacker Sammy Douglas committed in February.

"He is a strong, powerful, nasty guy in the trenches," Walsh said. "He had been itching to commit to TCU for awhile, things felt right and he jumped on it."

Yes indeed...that pipeline has me on notice. Speaking of which, I've heard that JW Walsh and Daxx Garmin are in heavy competition for that number 1 spot.

Lose Crane but have Ellis Jefferson back at WR. He could wind up being just as good, but we need another WR to balance things. Also need somebody to step in at RB, and on the D-line (three D-1 signees off the D-line from last year!)

Thank you for asking . We do have a great QB and I think he will shine even more and take more control of the team without anyone really from the JW era ! We will totally miss them all for sure. Ellis Jefferson is the other 6'4 reciever and he will be returning as is already getting offers, and I believe Josh Harris will move to reciever from corner. Dj Breedlove returns as RB ( and hopefully some surprise Sophmores ), O line is always strong with 3 returning . Biggest loss...the entire starting D-line. I personally think they're putting together a potentially great line again but will reserve comments on that. Lets just say they all know how to TACKLE REALLY HARD...its a GUYER thing. I do know we have some great athletes in many positions that were Jr's with limited playing time and they've been waiting.

Gundy is very excited about an early enrolled Freshmen from Illinois let me look him up, West Lunt, a 4 star Rivals recruit that Gundy says will compete for the starting position as well as anyone else. They appear to be set up at QB for awhile should be interesting.

Just noticed in a Spring Football article that the Guyer/ Cedar Hill game is now officially on THURSDAY August 30th. Sounds like it may be televised. This is great news as it free's me up for the Southlake /Allen game.

Nothing gets by me!! Btw the kitty is mentioned. I like that Walsh stated that the D-line may be more athletic than past years. I guess if they're dealing with our O line studs and making plays we will probably make a few tackles when the season rolls around
