Yes Flower Mound improves and we will see great progress.

It will be a battle to the last game for the 4 playoff spots. Should be great games every week.

I am excited to be playing Coppell again and have missed having them in our district.

I think our district is going to be the toughest district against one another. Especially if both Lewisville and Flo Mo get up to speed with the other teams. It could be a battle but very fun to watch. The team I know we play is Mansfield Timberview in a scrimmage at the beginning of the season.

don't get me started attendance will be brutal. None of the teams outside of Carroll and possibly NW draw any crowds even for home games.

I think right now 7-5A is the toughest district in the state. Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Desoto, Mansfield and Timberview, I do not know anything about the Grand Prairie schools, I know one of them used to be decent.

"They’ll open at Plano West in Zero Week, followed by home games against Guyer and Plano East. They’ll have a bye week before hosting Plano. District 5-5A play will start at Denton Ryan and close with Hebron. This is the sixth-straight season Marcus and Hebron close out the regular season."

I assume we will play Axe/Mound games with Coppell in between.

Looks like only 4 preseason games for Marcus...

Arlington's nondistrict schedule: Scrimmage with South Grand Prairie, bye in Week 0, Flower Mound Marcus in Week 1, Mansfield Timberview in Week 2 and Lewisville in Week 3.

Did that one get cancelled or is it game #10?

Its disappointing that the long traditional game of Coppell-Southlake will not be played this year. I guess the Southlake coach was scared to schedule us again like a few years ago......

Actually, the other traditional game missing for Coppell is with Jesuit. That's always been a great game as there are so many Jesuit families that live in Coppell.

But I do like this new 5-5A district, will be a great year for football and marching bands in this district.

I like the way you think! This district could have 4 of the top 10 bands at state this year.

Sorry I gotta tap the brakes..... it's still only February......

I just think ours will be tough on one another as well if anyone is the under dog in our district it is Lewisville and we are not coming out on the bottom of the pile any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
