Well if Holman is coming back, I think you guys have a good chance of getting into the playoffs again. That kid may be short, but he is a great running back.

Yes, short put strong, quick with a bit of speed, a few long TD runs for Holman that were negated by penalties last year, cost DV a game or two.
Only if he was a couple of inches taller, he could be a beast.

DV/LT first non-district games was in '94-'95 with LT winning both years 17-14, then 36-20

Last time DV/LT played in the same district was '00-'01 and '02-'03 both teams split one win each in '00-'01, LT over DV 30-2, DV over LT 28-21, then '02-'03 DV won 46-8 and LT won the following year 22-12.

LT leads the series 4-2 over all (I'm sure LT will add two more)

Every year, I get to about February or March and then I think to myself... "seriously? It's not football season yet?!" Honestly, a season that only lasts 11 weeks outta 52 is just too short.

I just got some not so good news from fnfs Jonathan D. that Xavier Holman may transfer this summer, not good for DV at all, losing their best player and running back.

Last year DV lost their best DB Antwaun Davis to Bastrop.

DV is losing talent every year, how can you be a better football program if you can't keep what you have.

DV's season just went down the drain, I'm not expecting DV to make the playoffs next season, another 2-8 season at best.

This really is sad news. Hopefully, he doesn't end up transferring. If Holman does end up transferring, let's hope that DV can fight through the adversity and clinch that playoff spot!!

LoL, man, let me tell ya, last year after a bowie and DV softball game, I over heard some parents from bowie talking to a parent from DV, about having her daughter (DV player) move in with the bowie parents so she can attend bowie and play for the softball team, the DV parent decline the idea.
Both parents and players knew one another, they played on the same select team for two years.

I'm sure the same thing happened with DeAndre.......he was recruited

Now there are two apartment complexes across from Bowie. I think they are higher end, though.
