My son and I are missing this weeks event at well - heading to a couple football camps over the weekend in the northeast

We lost a kid last weekend - he had to have surgery Saturday night! One of our top recievers.

Maybe its just me ... but this facebook page is bothering me. I really do not want to read some of the conversations I am seeing. Pretty ridiculous I withhold any additional comment - I need to figure out how to de-friend this group. Will have to ask my kids

I'm with C-Dub on this one. Have a great trip and give us the details when you get back. Booster said that it may hurt that the kid that lives on your street that his dad has a chicken wing for an arm, but I think y'all can work through that!

I hear his Dad had a chicken wing right arm but a gun on the left side. Just rumour though. Thanks for the well wishes - will pass them on. Kind of a fun and different experience.

I heard Cy-Fair qualified yesterday for the National Red Bull 7on7 Championship in Dallas next month.

Watching them this year at 7on7 they are very solid, they have good leadership on both sides of the ball. Cy-Fair will be very dangerous if not one of the favorites this year in 17-5A

It's NOT just you - I was hoping for a nice civil page where we could discuss normal things and there is so much juvenile BS on there - I can't stand to even look at it now. I think everyone from the yard joined. My original thought was that it would just be those of us who know one another....not Jr High 101.

Rod- if they play I understand it is on different weekends. I am assuming Fair would not pass up the either if they could make it. But no knowledge.

I'm not sure how Campbell's group does their rankings but there have been many times when I've read it and laughed - and usually ended up with good reason to laugh by November. It is lazy at best - which is why I don't pony up the $10 for it....I saw it at the register, looked up 17-5a and put it back down. I believe 3 and 4 were Woods and Creek - they go by what happened the year before and as Falls, Fair, Creek and others can tell you, that's just not how it works. Each year is different.
