The Capital One Bowl (Bama v Michigan State) and the Cotton Bowl (LSU v aTm) has more of a feel of a BCS Bowl than the Fiesta and The Orange.
OU v UConn - yukk
Stanford v Va Tech - probably a blowout.
Should have matched up OU and Stanford although that would probably be a blowout too. At least it's better for TV if nothing else.
Big Daddy has sold out..
LSU's Cotton Bowl Ticket Allotment Sold Out
http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle...CLID=205042801BATON ROUGE - LSU has sold out of its allotment of tickets to the 2011 AT&T Cotton Bowl, assistant athletic director for ticket operations Brian Broussard announced on Sunday night.
Broussard said the school was given an allotment of 12,500 tickets for the game and those requests were all scooped up by season ticket holders and students. Broussard said LSU had well over 15,000 ticket requests for the Cotton Bowl.
"We sold every ticket we had to this game and they went quick," Broussard said. "There is obviously a lot of excitement about going to play in the Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M."

Craig James saying the Big 12 should do what it can to get Boise and Arkansas.
I say a big... THIS
Is it just me or is this the best and most interesting matchup of all the bowl games when you consider past tradition, proximity, fanbase and venue not to mention the year they've both had?
Texas A&M is playing as well as anyone right now, but 30 days is a long time to wait?...LSU is normally rested and healed some by then and most of the time we look like a brand new team-minus the Mud Bowl last year...

No matter who wins, we will hear SEC! SEC! SEC! chants....

I hate waiting a month to play one game and would rather play it this weekend so we can ride this hot streak we've been on. But it helps and hurts both teams equally. I'm interested to see the match up between Jeff Fuller and Patrick Peterson. For the first time since the tech game, Fuller probably won't see exclusive double teams the entire game and could open up some opportunities for some deep balls. Peterson is the real deal and as physical as any DB in the nation though.
Oregon--Auburn, TCU--Wisky, Arky--SweaterVest, and this game are the best matchups, IMHO, of the bowl season. Definitely the most interesting.
I like how we match up against LSU. This should be a good defensive battle. Whoever can take care of the ball will be in good shape. A&M is much better against the run than pass, and will help keep us close.
A&M has already shown that they can stay on the field against the SEC's best, we played Arkansas tight with horrible QB play. If Tannehill can manage the game and avoid big errors, it should be a good one.
Awesome to be playing LSU again.
TexasFrog GEMS
"IF TEXAS" was running a National event like that each year. I know for a 100% fact you wouldnt see SLC, EULESS TRINITY, Cedar Hill, Lufkin in it each year. You probably wouldnt see the same Texas team in it for at least 3 years.
Lattimore is a solid RB but there aint "No Way, No How" he is the #1 RB in the country. He is more of a fullback and not a RB. He lacks break-away speed and not totally impressed with his vision.
