Since we are in a thread with Guyer in the title, we can talk about Texas 4A Div I OR II SC as well. Do you think Heard will have developed more this year in his reads? I'd love to see how he coming along, do you know if they are playing 7on7?

I can tell you this, he can disguise the hell out od his feonts anbd cause all sorts of havoic, especially when he lines up in a base and then disguises that coverage into a cover 2. If you guys truly take advantage of his defense then you will continue to be ok

I admittedly was skeptical of hire, not because of the 3-4 as I think that is a better fit for our personnel but because I had heard he was a 3-4 specialist, coach Wilson wanted to run a 3-4 and we had hired the DC from Highland Park, also a 3-4 guy who backed out at the last minute and he was told he was running a 4-3. When Tim was hired he was the LB coach as Coach Wilson was here.
My skepticism was strictly from a nepotism standpoint as Hal was getting heat to the point he was having the message board monitored.
Tim is a great DC and facilitated the biggest changes that allowed us to win State last year, other than the fox we released and the referees we paid off.

I am issuing you a ticket for stupidity. Making an assumption or comment on a matter you clearly were ignorant on. If you had understood the game or knew anything at all about Tim Wasson and his reputation as a DC, you would not have been skeptical.
