    Default Former Carroll Player in Critical Condition

    Please pray for Josh Rake and his family. The North Texas wide out was involved in an automobile accident last night and is in very serious condition.

    Kiss your players, your cheerleaders, your color guard kids, your band kid, your drill team member, your crew member, your young ones tonight, and realize that life can be very very short. I do so feel for the Rake family and particularly Josh's brothers. This was heartbreaking, a very young man with so much to look forward to.

    Exceptionally well said my friend....

    While the Dragon parents are excited about the win tonight, a lot of us have a much different perspective of how important football, or any activity, really is for our kids. Just being able to hug your child, tell them you love them and say good night takes on a whole new meaning this evening

    I was so shocked to see the story. As a fan of an opposing team, I only saw what a fine athlete he was and apparently he was just as fine as a person. My thoughts and prayers definitely go out to the Rake family.
    I called my daughter of the same age who is away at college just to hear her voice and tell her I love her. Life is so precious. Hug your sons, daughters, moms, dads and all family members and tell them you love them.
