I made a sign for the game that says "Our haka is better than your haka"..."Go Trojans!"

ALLEN EAGLES!!!
No Haka is better than any Haka
i think it should atleast be used sparingly, so that is preserves some semblance of uniqueness, not just to the opposition wholl understand they hold a position of honor, but so our own fans dont get tired of it
and it should be cut in half timewise
It's an all or nothing deal. Do you ever see the All Blacks or the Rugby League team not do it?
Out of curiosity, does the NZ Womens Field hockey team do it too?
The Trinity Girls Athletic teams need to do this.

If it's kept it needs a rework of the verbal tempo. I mean yelling a bunch of Tongan gibiresh at a 100 miles an hour is crap. The only reason the Maori Haka's are half cool is because it's done at a slow steady tempo. Tongan has the disadvantage of too many damn sylables to make a simple sentence. I think less effort should be made at making it make sense to Tongans and more to making it sound cool...like a good lyracist. I mean Louie Louie is one of the best crowd songs I've ever participated it and nobody knows the words, but it ROCKS right?
and it needs to be shortened significantly.
