Steele's Malcolm Brown 08 highlights

Here's some highlights from his sophomore year. A broken foot in the 1st quarter of game 7 ended his season with 1400+/- yards, 17 TDs, 10+ YPC.

Can't wait to watch him go this year!

Wow! Kinda reminds me of Peterson in high school! how big is this guy? Looks like the real deal!

He's 6', maybe a little taller and is around 220. He's got 10.5 speed in the 100 and 4.5- in the 40. He does run something like AD in that he would rather run smack dab over people then around them! He's extremely strong and I've been told by a friend that coaches there he works out with the O & D linemen. Bench 350+, Squat 500+, Cling 300+.

He was brought up to varsity about the 7th game of the year he was a freshman against Hays Consolidated. It was a game they had to win to make the playoffs in Steele's 2nd varsity season. It was impressive to say the least as he ran for 170+/- yards in that game.

He will open some eyes this year as a junior providing he can stay injury free and if he gets to carry the ball enough. In several of their games last year he only played a little over 2 quarters because they had big leads.

I forgot to add to my first response to you that hopefully, if all goes as planned, you'll get to see him in person in late December!

Dude looks pretty good.......lt seems like he's playing some pretty small guys in a couple of shots. He is definitely legit though, especially to be a rising junior.

Not too many DBs or LBs for that matter with that kind of size, strength, and speed at the HS level!

LV is the real deal this year from all I've read, and I believe Steele can be as well if the QB position is solidified through the season. So, if this matchup happens the last game of the year like I'm hoping it does, it could be one HELL of a ball game!

I don't know about that yet, but they should be a top 5 team for sure if they melt together.

LV has a ton coming back and deserve the #1 spot.

We'll find out pretty quick just how good they are. They scrimmage NB and then have 3 - SA area 5a teams in non-district to start to season. All 3 5a teams are picked to go to the playoffs and SA East Central has 2 D1 seniors this year including a D-lineman committed to Blow U.

The other two are against SA Stephens who beat Judson in the 1st round last year. Steele owns a 4-0 record against them including an *** whoopin last year so Stephens will beat out for revenge. The third game is against SA Southwest, Ty Detmer's alma mater.

If they win all three of those going away then I would think they are going to be tough.

Hope to be at the Title game and see LV fans across the field from me. That would be awesome!
