I'm surprised that Hill makes that much. Usually, with a multischool district, it's harder to slot that much salary for one position. And it's rare that a head football coach would serve as as AD with two other schools in the district isn't it? For example, whose the AD in, say, Tyler or Wichita Falls. (can't think of any three-school districts off the top of my head). I bet it's not a head coach.

I could be mistaken, but I do not think Hill does anything with the Canyon Schools.

Larry is the Athletic Director of Smithson Valley, Lee Davis is the Athletic Director of Canyon and no one is listed as Athletic Director of Canyon Lake.

Then he's not AD of the Comal ISD. W/o AD duties, its' hard to imagine a salary reaching $120K

I guess there is no AD overseeing the entire district. Odd.

And when you think that Copperas Cove is one of the smallest schools in 5A, it makes it even a better feat. How many students over the 5A cut line is Cove, 10?

You can bet our ex-Head Coach is the AD at Canyon Lake. Monzingo.

I know Matt is the coach of the Hawks, but he isn't listed as the AD. But I agree, he is likely filling that roll, they probably just haven't officially named him.

Just for clarity: ADs usually preside over an entire school district. ACs (athletic coordinators) usually handle one school. Both are administrative positions, thus they can climb higher on the pay scale than a teacher position. I'd guess Monzingo is the AC at Canyon lake and Hill is the AC at SV.

120K is a little high for Hill-closer to 100K. And contrary to popular belief money was not the reason he almost went to Corsicana-he would have made more money there. He did not get a raise when he decided to stay at SV. they are upgrading/expanding the facilities which is to his liking.
Yes he is the AD or AC at SV. Jim Rodrigue is the AD for the Comal ISD.
