I guess ESPN is getting ready to fill those Hockey (are whatever they call that game on ice) slots up with High school football games.

to watch it is one thing to play it is another i can tell from personel experince its alot harder that football is imo

I was at the game last yaer in Dragon Stadium and for the hosting school, it is truly a zoo with the ESPN folks running all over the place. But it sure comes out well on tv. Would certainly prefer to watch good high school football than ice hockey anytime.

Hoover was Alabama's 6A State Champs. In fact Hoover has won Alabama 6A title like 4 times in 5 years and lost once in the Title game. Other words they are pretty much the top dog in Alabama every year. By the way Alabama 6A is like ( 1,100-2,500) kids. Hoover is Alabama's largest enrollment schools with like 2,400 kids. I think they are the only school in Alabama with over 2,000 kids.

There is a rumor that in 2006 the Woodlands and Hoover are going to play.

That should be an interesting game. I have consistantly seen Hoover ranked in the top 25 nationally each year. I am not sure about the Florida team. But i do look forward to seeing how HS football is played in a state other than Texas.

Nease has been one of the stronger teams from Florida. I believe they play in Florida 5A size. But, in Florida the rating system (A, AA, AAA, AAAA and so forth) is kind of screwy because its not really based on the schools enrollment numbers. They base it on alot of different factors that I dont really know what all of them are.

Some schools in Florida 3A or alot bigger than Florida 6A teams. Its weird.

actually, its not nearly as hard, from experience of playing both, the only thing thats hard to get down at first is the skating part. hockey isnt an easy sport, but overall, id say football is a tougher sport to play. thats just me.

I would have to say football probably takes more brains...
you have to remember plays...defenses....this means this...
that means that...there is less room for error in football. IMO...
Hockey is a lot more fun to watch when you have had a few
adult beverages and it's in person....otherwise...that crap is boring.
