Of course, in districts where there is a tie for one of the spots we had to make a pick based on what we think will happen in Wk. 10. That's why Longview appears in the Div. 1 bracket now.

Also, we are using the revised enrollment figures the UIL released earlier this season for some schools like Clemens that had notable changes in enrollment since Feb. of 2004. I know some sites aren't using the updated numbers yet.

interesting. I still think it is hard to predict where Lview will go. Horn may be better than Lee but not by much. If Lee contains Mon then they might win. I think Rockwall will beat mesquite.

If Lview goes D1 then a jt/lufkin match looks probable.

The thing that made me go with Horn for now is the fact they have head to head tie breakers versus both Mesquite and Rockwall. So, Horn will definitely be in the playoffs if they can beat Lee this week.

It will be fun to see how it plays out. Horn may very well win if Mon gets going.

I do think SLC going D1 is a safe pick. I still think they are hands down best team in the state but if Lview played their "A" game we would give them a great game if we met.

Yeah, but you didn't read the fine print! I put in there from the start that I reserved the right to change my mind and I've already un-fired some teams and sometimes fired the team again. I'll fire Churchill this week and there will be several teams that come back. One of the teams that I bring back will be fired again next week (and it better be the right team!)
