One correction should probably be made to SGP for last year's season. We did beat Irving 20-17, but we ended up having to forfeit because of our coach playing an ineligible player. So even though it hurts my school's history, I am just trying to make it more accurate. Should it still go down as a win because technically we did, or should it go down as a loss with an asterisk next to it.
GO WARRIORS!!
All I know is that if it has been 7 days since you last showed your repsect to WOS87, its been a week!

I would love to be able to do something like that....
Threads like this need to be saved and accessible. I vote to give WSO87 his own forum just below the Pick'em Challenge and above Game Day. Call it Stats and Histories by WOS87.
Division 2 State Champs / playoff points for 331 against 95
nm. I guess you don't have a complete history for Lake Highlands. I wonder where i could find this info?
WOS87 is a god. Incredible work.
Do you know who the top 25 teams are that have the longest streak as far as consecutive winning seasons? Being a "stat" fanatic, I've enjoyed your numerous posts on a multitude of subjects.

State Champions: 83, 88, 92, 93, 95, 02
Semifinal Champions: 83,88,90,92,93,95,96,98,02,05,07
Regional Champions: 82,83,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95,96,98,02,04,05,07
36 consecutive winning seasons: 1977-Present
The Lake Highlands history is now mostly complete except for 4 seasons in the early '80's.
In regards to consecutive winning seasons stats... I would have to add a new tracking measure on my database to accurately compile that so it would take me quite a bit of time. Pilot Point, Converse Judson, Plano and Harlingen are the teams that immediately come to mind, all of which have had 25+ season winning streaks at some point in their respective histories.
WO-S will notch their 25th consecutive non-losing season this year if they can win two more games (that darn 5-5 season in 2001 keeps it from being a winning season streak)

thanks for the email by the way... although I noticed, there werent any back to back games with such scores.. but there were two 100+ point wins for Conroe.. which is amazing.. again, thanks for all the information
I'm working my way backwards to try to fill in as much of the Conroe history as I can... except for '72 and '73 the vast majority of the history is added in all the way back to 1951.
From Week 1 1979 thru Week 10 1980 Conroe went 19-0-1....
That must have SUCKED to go 9-0-1 and not qualify for the playoffs in '79
