Coaches in High School

If you had to start a program up from the botton, Who would you pick to be your Coach?

I would like to have (slc) Dodge, (LHS) Outlaw, or (ex. Katy) Johnston

I would like to see what the board will say!

I'll say D.W. Rutledge since he went to 7 title games in 17 years.

I have a lot of respect for Coach Johnston, who had class. Coach Dodge is very successful, but I'll stick with Jrock!

Larry Hill has plenty of talent. The SV lack of talent theme is overstated. SV sends more guys to D1 than Judson. He is a great coach, though.

Hey, white guys can play, too. It's hard to use the D1 thing to judge because Rackley doesn't do a good job publicizing his players.

Never said anything about white guys. You did. It's not about race. SV has some good players that work hard, but to say that there is more raw talent at SV is just crazy.

The answer to this question is Joey Florence, or Bobby Aymond at North Shore.

Denton Ryan and North Shore were both horrible and had zero tradition of winning before they got there. Larry Hill deserves a nod too for what he has accomplished at SV.

Art Briles was the original, though, for what he did at Stephenville.
