There will be some pretty spectacular pitchers coming out of the Houston area again.
Most of what they have mentioned in this article are in the 90+ range. Plus a few Q & A's on Tmmy Collier.. a top Cy-Fair prospect that aside from Grossman, is one of the big reasons Fair is ranked so high this year.

    Go Cy-Fair!

BTW, does anyone know the final national rankings from last year?
-Why did the Heisman presentation mention A&M, was it because of the John David Crow footage?
-No, it's because A&M makes every opposing player look like a Heisman winner. We are the NCAA version of the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

I believe CC Moody won 4A State last year. They have always been dominant in baseball. The whole coastal bend is pretty good when it comes to baseball.

Game MVP Miguel Gonzalez, a junior right-hander, went 5 1/3 innings, allowing four hits with five strikeouts. Jacob Perales hit a solo homer, and teammates Rudy Flores and Andrew Perez added two-run shots. Also beat Canyon Randall 5-2 in semifinals. It was the program's second state title in 10 state tournaments and first since winning the 5A crown in 2004. Season complete.

    20. Cy-Fair, Houston (32-7)

Don't know alot about Cap' Shreve, but Jesuit one of the better baseball programs over here....

Rummel and Jesuit been going at it for years(same district)....Sad to say Jesuit normally comes out on top.....Rummel's had some great teams also...Can't match Jesuit though....

With the LHSAA trophy on display, the 2007 Blue Jay baseball team basks
in glory following their 4-2 win over West Monroe to capture Jesuit’s
    20th prep state championship.

From last year....This one hurt.....We'll get them this year.....

Calvary won state last year, but I believe they lost the vast majority of their team from last season.

I never realized just how much info was associated with that site until i spent some time looking around. By far one of the most informative 5A Baseball sites i've ever come across. Great place for prospecting as well.

With the internet these days, it's hard to phathom the process coaches must have gone through in the days of "word of mouth", and mailing out film real footage to evaluate a prospect.
