Why do we only get 2.5 points for a win? I'll take my 2.5 points for this week no matter how they add up.

Naturally, I want the Redskins, Panthers, Broncos, and Patriots to win next week. The good thing is I think they'll all win.
b/c we have two teams..so 2.5 plus 2.5= 5Originally Posted by lonny23

Thanks guys, although I'm disappointed Denver won't be winning the Super Bowl. That's 2 years in a row I predicted the Super Bowl wrong.
And yes d08, I believe you did barely beat Lonny.

NO. We're tied, but only because OnE gives 2.5 points for a playoff win. I won 2 playoff games to your none. You were 5 points ahead of me going into the playoffs.Originally Posted by dragons08

No you didn't. In fact, I should win in a tiebreaker, but OnE never said anything about a tiebreaker.Originally Posted by dragons08
If you ask me, the points are reversed. All of the playoff wins we get should be worth MORE than the regular season, not less. The regular season games were easier to pick than the playoffs.

You pickedwhich can be found HereOriginally Posted by lonny23
That would be 2 wins for 5 points.
When adding those to the final scores AllenEagle06 would have 62.5 points and you would have 50 points. Allen Eagle06 also has the chance for a 20point bonus if Seattle wins the Superbowl.
62.5 > 50
or
85 > 50
Either way he wins

Thank you for taking the time to look all of that up, but Lonny is actually arguing with d08 about who got second place.Originally Posted by dragonfootballfan

Yes, AllenEagle06 is right that we're talking about 2nd place. AllenEagle started picking 2 weeks before I did and neither of us started when the other guys did. Because I was 10 points back going into the playoffs, I had to pick teams that the other guys didn't. I felt real good about Denver and was hoping nobody would take them, but he did. I took a flyer on the Redskins because I could only make up points if I didn't pick who AllenEagle06 and Dragons08 picked.Originally Posted by dragonfootballfan
