    jtk will never forget their album covers. jtk's Dad had the "Boston" and "Don't Look Back" records when jtk was a kid and jtk used to stare and dream about those covers for hours. They were like rock & roll science fiction.

    My absolute favorite band of all time. I was in High School when the first album came out and probably wore out at least three 8-track tapes of that masterpiece. I have all their albums on cd including the "Greatest Hits".

    This time of year when you can roll down the windows in the car I crank up "More Than a Feeling" and try in vain to sing the lyrics that Delp so wonderfully sang. This is truly a sad day for me.

    It's been such a Long Time and More than a Feeling are 2 of the most underrated songs of all time. Boston is still one of my favorites, especially on roadtrips. Nothing like an open Texas highway with a great view and Boston cranked up...

    My time is coming...
    in that case, so is mine I have all the Boston albums and 300 others on vinyl. I finally bought one of those little record players to listen to them again and Boston and Beatles were the first two sets I put on. Too bad about Delp - they had a great sound.

    I got 'em on vinyl too. I literally wore out my Boston 8-Tracks (YIKES!!!) in my brand new 1976 Cutlass 442.
    Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it......shut up about the 10% and deal with the 90%....you have control over the 90%.

    Don't think I'm rich, I got a job working as summer help in 1976 and 1977 at Kraft Foods. The normal job paid about $1 to $1.50 per hour for school kids. This job paid $3.85 - $4.15 per hour. I worked 14 weeks, 6 days a week about half the time, and got to work double shifts at least three days a week, so the cash piled up and I was really good at saving. I saved up $2,900 the first summer, I paid $1,000 down, and made payments for the next 8 months until the summer of '77 rolled around. I saved up $3,200 that summer and paid it off and had cash to spare.

    Yeah, back when it was about $3000 a semester to go to UT!! And that was still a lot of money. My girls were watching Dazed and Confused the other day and they asked if we really and truly dressed like that - I told them that as sad as that is, yes we did...they were laughing at the high waist pants and I said it looks better than some of these girls today with the tight pants and their love handles and butt cracks hanging out!! Then they got my 1975 high school yearbook out and had just a ton of laughs

    Sad State of Affairs! His music will live on I promise that. My daughter(6) and son(4) enjoy listening to Boston! BOSTON WILL NEVER DIE. Get the records out and listen to them. Great Music!

    Sad to hear. Boston is one of my favs..I saw them the last time they came to SA can't remember the year..drink too much and a little to much smoke in the Alamodome to remember much Just remember walking over to Howl at the Moon after the concert singing they're song Amanda then passing out on the ride home.
