Post 20,000

Well, I'm at 20,000. I haven't dedicated a post lately, but 20K is an important number, so I figured I should say something.

Post 20K is dedicated to my Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I've been slighting those guys because I should've dedicated a post to them before now. I know some are non-religious and some are religious. God gave us that choice to be either way. I know their importance in my life. I just want to thank them for forgiving me of my sins, which are many. I don't always serve God like I should, but he's been patient with me and takes me back into His fold. May God bless all of you today and I pray you can develop your relationship with Him.

May the next 20K come along slower, but be more productive. I try to be a good influence on the board, but I'm a butt-head sometimes. I hope to be better in that area, too.

I'd like to thank all of you guys for posting on the board. Your threads and posts are what make me keep coming back. The quality of the posters and the posts are why I spend more time on this site than any other site on the internet. Keep up the good posts!

Congrats on 4K. I remember when 1K was a big deal on this board and now we have people doing it all the time. Look how many have hit 2, 3 and 4K. When the last board crashed, we only had 9 people (I think) over 1K and 2 people over 2K.

I still think you should've kept your posts. Post counts don't mean anything as far as importance of words, but they do show your dedication to post and that's something that shouldn't be minimized. My attitude is that I've worked too hard to get this many and don't want to lose them. It doesn't make a difference on what I say, but I should at least have something to show for my time typing.

In January of 05? Yeah I had over 6k....
January of '04 I had 1800...(I was banned on New Year's Eve if I remember correctly.)
All together I'm probably right at 10k or so.

You're talking about January 2006 with the 6K. In January 2005, nobody had 6K.

Yeah '06 I had over 6k....January '05 I had approx. 1800...

Well ain't this just the best day to beset all of us.

It was either the off-topic or SI thread where about 4 or 5 of us hit a posting milestone. It's like Rickey Henderson getting the stolen base record on May 1, 1991 and saying "Today, I'm the greatest of all time" and then Nolan Ryan threw his 7th no-hitter that night! Rickey was strikeout 5K and was playing in Nolan's 6th no-hitter so he should've been used to it!
