#1 (4A) Brenham falls to Houston Lamar 21-17. I'm pretty surprised about that.

Copperas Cove is #1......watch them take out Texas High in the quarterfinals this year.

i think brenham is just not as good as they are made out to be.

They probably are.. They always have several blue-chips on the team that are squared away young men and have the best coaching in their district.
They also have a pretty good QB in the Woods youngster.
I know a few seasons ago they beat Bay City when Bay City was like the #3rd ranked Texas 4A.

Didnt Houston Lamar give North Shore a pretty good game in the playoffs when North Shore won the State Title a few years ago.
That's when Kelson was at Lamar and Reid was at North Shore.

Wow, whats going on with this year football, every week, everyone expected almost the same and it came out very unexpected, every week! (Like Hebron Game).

Yes! it is very a fun season and surprising too (except Hebron) :D but the only problem is the pick em'.

my stuff will be messed up the whole season alot of big dogs will lose games they are not suppose to lose.

Correct. It was the closest anybody had played them all year. They also had Brian Orakpo. It was 28-19 late in the game and NS added a couple late scores off of TO's to make it 42-19...much worse than it actually was.
Lamar is consistently the best team in HISD. I was shocked that they lost to Aldine, because I was convinced they were one of the best teams in the area. Then, they turn around and beat Brenham...weird.

A buddy of mine was at the Game....said Brenham came out like the Cowboys did against Jacksonville, jumed to an early lead and looked like they were gonna blow Lamar away......said Brenham had a chance for the win but a reciver dropped the ball in the endzone with about 5 seconds left.
Brenham is Pretty good...Lamar is a good 5A team....I picked them as my sleeper. Don't know what happened in the Aldine game.
