Smallwood was a good QB. Kinda small but he has a strong arm and is elusive.

Ashford Ayers is playing QB somewhere as well isn't he?

I think he was recruited as a db?? He did play qb in an all star game recently and had some great success. Parks starting at Baylor and Reggie a heisman hopeful starting at a&m. Not bad qb's lately.

That is cool. I was actually thinking Ashford went to Kilgore as well, but absolutely as db - that kid needs to get qb out of his mind and quick.

Smallwood has a cannon arm, and is the shiftiest small guy I've seen in awhile. He could make a decent small college qb. His downsides are accuracy and occassional poor decision. Who can forget his pitchout to Jorvorski on his own 10 yard line last year against SLC in the final seconds of the first half. The problem? His pitch had to go OVER a defender draped all over Lane - fortunately Jorvorksi fell on it - the defender was clueless to the pitch.

For some reason Terrence Parks gets no love here in Waco. If I didn't know any better, I would think he wasn't even on the team. What do they expect the guy to do?...I mean c'mon...it's Baylor.

Yeah that is not exactly the team you want to be leading on the field. He is a very good qb not a God!! :)

Now if he did lead Baylor to a championship....
I would be the first guy to laugh at anyone that even
mentioned Reggie or Vince for the Heisman.

Hell, If he lead them to 7 or 8 wins i would be ready to crown him. ;)

Once again they were knocked out by the "evil empire" in Austin.
