Sasports is pretty bad....I wouldn't take anything they say seriously.

I think the E-N did a good job with the most recent rankings. We'll see how they come out tomorrow.

If Mac is in the top 5 something is wrong period. Must be somekind of joke poll, that are trying to get the attention of others.

...hence the discussion as to why SAsports sucks at polls.

Mac fits nicely into the 7 spot EN gave them in the Area 5A poll.

I can't say that...their coverage is more comprehensive than any web site I've seen for South Texas. Just not very good at rankings.....an obvious Taft bias...

Coverage wise for 1A to 3A, they're I guess good cause they're the only ones who even cover that stuff. But 4A and 5A, you can tell there's certain bias' to certain schools.

If by comprehensive you mean copying DCTF and the EN then, yes, I agree with you.

I'm not talking about the polls. Most polls are a waste of bandwith anyway.

I'm talking about the "previews" and "Daily Scoop" both of which come from the EN or DCTF

All polls are a work in progress at this point. Ask 10 people and get 10 different opinions. We don't want this board to be a place where people slam other sites. Some things are better left unsaid. Disagreeing is fine, but saying they "suck the big one" is uncalled for. Let's use a little tact.
