Or...he could be part of a TEAM and help his TEAM win by practicing hard and making those above him better. Schools sure wouldn't have a whole lot of depth if every backup or situational player had that kind of attitude towards helping out the TEAM.

Gutierrez was awsome, he's a little RB 5'7 185 i believe, but the kid was a beast, if i'm not mistaken, while still in HS, he bench pressed 400lbs and ran a 4.4 40.......he didnt get recruited by any D1 schools so he made a highlight tape of himself and sent it to like every D1 school he could think of, OUs Bob Stoops supposedly fell in love with this kid and signed him rightaway, unfortunatly Jacob has fallen into and gotten lost inthe depthchart at OU, thats what he gets for going outa state, the guy is a very talented RB and is capable of many things, IMO he should transfer to a school like NorthTexas, Utep, TAMK, Texas State, some Texas school where he could possibly showcase his talent........shoot now that i think about it Texas Tech would be a perfect place for him.

That dude was a beast. It took about 5 guys to tackle him when he ran with the ball. I don't think he had 4.4 speed, but he was all heart. He'd play a little MLB on defense and was an awesome wrestler. He was great with the weights, too. They had him and Gary Green at the same time and that 2002 Madison team was awesome. Judson beat them, but I'd have a hard time arguing that the Rockets were better. Sorry SV fans, Madison deserved to be the team to play SLC in the championship game that year.
Guys, this is coming straight from the heart, because a lot of you have read things I've said about Madison before.

i think he did have 4.4 speed, maybe low 4.5....but the kid could move....very Quentin Griffin type player, very good strength, body control, vision and moves, he would make a heck of a player somewhere beside OU....

red raiders, if you would, do us all a favor, and read your posts back to yourself before you flush them on our heads. they can be somewhat disjointed and difficult to understand. thanks for your consideration.

I saw Gutierrez on the news last night, they said he won some award from the United Way. The reporter said that in the last two years he hadn't played a snap on offense, but he'd be getting some playing time this coming year.
