Shreveport was an easy drive Scooter, but the game drug on forever, and it was hard getting away from the stadium. Then, there was some tractor trailer incident on Hwy. 59 in Nac. at 1 am - we were sitting on the highway for 17 minutes waiting for a tow-truck to pull this lame-brain off the road. No injuries - and one stinkin' DPS officer working it. That's Nacogdoches for you! Got in bed at 2 am -- but happy for the win and safe drive.

yea i saw the thing in nac...but we did not have much trouble getting out...my dad turned down a street and it let back out to the main road and we were in texas by 11...we stopped and ate at a fast food place but still made it to lufkin by 1...that tractor trailer was there outside of nac w/ the dps at 1230...it must have taken them a long time to get it worked out

Your dad is smarter than I. "worked out" is an under-statement 08. Understandable if you have injuries - but in my book you don't shut down a major highway 17 minutes to let the tow-truck pull an 18 wheeler away - geez what a bunch of goofballs.

yea he visits churches all over east texas so he knows how to get around...did yall have traffic in garrison...probly not cuz we had a late start...but he just pulled down a street and we went the back way through garrison and got back on the highway ahead of the people we were behind

Wel Lufkin is 1-0 and that is all that matters lots of things to get worked out but what school does not have things to work out after the 1st game of the season? So next game a good Kimble team who fought hard in coming back against carter to loose a close game to they will be ready for the pack and they have a good coach in Jordan who coached at lufkin while i was playing so this will be a good test for the pack they have good speed and some big players so i am ready for this game to come.

Lufkin was very rusty and Evangel is a lot better then I thought they would be. There is a reason that they have only lost only 1 or 2 games in 10 years at that stadium. They were not bad at all but Lufkin was definitely rusty. I am not concerned at all. They will be fine.


Ralph is leaving and he will be gone at least for 1 week if he does not make the cut from 32 to 18. If he does make it he will be gone for 3 weeks because he will be going to Cuba.

Try to keep in mind that UNT isn't tOSU... ;) That UNT game was scary if I am a longhorn fan. Missed tackles(that won't be missed next Sat) led to every score. Jevan is playing, well, like a true freshman. Colt still doesn't exactly have a strong arm...

Melton was the non-factor that he was last year. What a waste of talent that idiot is.

McCoy needs to make better decision with the football, imo...

That all being said, it *should* be a great game.
