Seniors Tyler Deloach and Nate Blackwell and junior Kenny Greaves are waging a three-way battle to start at quarterback.

Coach Mike Fuller said he will decide on two quarterbacks by the season opener, Aug. 26 against Jesuit. Those two will share playing time through the first few nondistrict games until a starter emerges.

All three also are working out at wide receiver, and the odd man out will play that position, Fuller said. Deloach was the varsity's backup quarterback last season, completing 21 of 37 passes for 249 yards.

Tyler Deloach or Kenny Greaves...I think Kenny has the egde, cause hes better but he throws side arm...his passes are to low...if i was the head coach at Coppell it would be Nate Blackwell, he has the best arm of the bunch, and is a great leader. He was my fav QB last year, when ever I would work with the second team...

Did either QB get some playing time on the varsity team last year? Which one is tallest? Throwing side armed isn't as bad if the player has good height.

If he can run like Vince...throwing side-arm can be overlooked.

Tyler Deloach and Kenny Graves are the same high about 6'1-6'3 somewhere around there Tyler is on the Varstey basketball team as well...Nate has the better arm and makes better choices on the field he also plays Baseball..hes around 6'0....none of them can run extreamly fast, maybe high 4s in the forty
