Any teams having scrimmages this week??

I read on another post Arl. Bowie was scrimmaging Carter this Saturday. I haven't heard an official word on the time or place.


Have you heard of any others?

Who knows with the way Lufkin travels. Most of the city goes to a regular game so half will prolly show up. LOL

According to the Garland football website we play The Colony friday at 7:30 at Williams....

I would like to go see that one. On paper Desoto looks very good, and I'm sure Lee will will be very competitive again this year.

Desota looks loaded again this season with about 6 or so D-1A athletes. There O-line looks like its going to be about (6-3/285) and D-line (6-3/240) with the typical skill athletes all over the field.

If Tyler Lee can move the football againt them pretty good and stop the run of Desota. That will be a very good early sign that they are on the right track for the Chaminade and Colerain games.

It's Saturday in the morning some time. Team pictures are at 11, so the intersquad scrimage will be over by then. I should find out more tomorrow. I'll let you know if I remember.

They filled up about 1/3rd of their home side last year.

We filled up...well not a lot lmao.

nope i dont have it yet but im sure i can get it...mom works for the district...i wanna see the judson vs wagner jv game though...Go T-Birds, GO Rockets.

I think anytime you get Lufkin and Longview together, whether it is a scrimmage or a playoff game, half of Lufkin will be there!

Yes, I will be at the intersquad scrimmage. I went to the scrimmage last year also, I was disappointed in the number of fans that showed. I don't think people were expecting much last year. As you might say, wrong they were. I bet they show up this year though. :)

I definately see atleast half of the home side being filled just because of the expectations.

I cant wait to see how much we will fill up the away side at Maverick Stadium. I believe we all remember the 2003 year where we brought so many people they had to move the Marshall band so we could have fans sit there. Definately can see the bands having to sit on the track this year with the amount of fans expected at that game.
