I am living in London and follow Austin Westlake football. I have kept my season tickets so I can have my same seats when I return to Austin in 2008. Last year I was able to pick up the radio broadcasts on the web. However, I have not been able to find out any information if this will be available this year. Any information would be appreciated.

And here I was thinking all of the London hits were coming from lost UK football fans looking for information on Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham.

I imagine the broadcasts will still be available this year. I'm sure you are aware of tsrnsports.com as well. I know Westlake is covered well, so I wouldn't guess you'd have big problems with that.

They were broadcast locally on ESPN radio, but I'm not finding any information there or on TSRN (which doesn't have any fall schedules up yet). The Chap Club website also doesn't give the information. They've been broadcast for several years, so I'm optimistic they will be, but it may take the first game before we figure out where.

Only problem is that's last year's schedule. Maybe we can see if the Athletic Secretary can update it. I'll try to e-mail her.

I got a quick answer from her. She said the scrimmages are not being broadcast, but the arrangements for the regular season will remain the same, and the web site links will be updated before our first game (Sept. 1).

Well, you never know. A&M has done well at home against Westlake. I'll be watching on the web from Munich and rooting for the underdog - GoChaps.
