When was the last time you team was held scoreless? I know the last time Judson did not score was in an opening game 0-0 tie against SA Marshall in 1987. Since then, Judson has scored in 243 consecutive games. They have scored a touchdown in all of the 243 games.

Judson may not have the record at the present time. I believe Austin Westlake may still have the longest consecutive game scoring streak.

First time in the regular season since 97 was last year...42-0 yeah it was embarressing I walked off the feild with my head down and helmet on and acted like nobuddy could see me...Ppl were like yelling "Well I guess the Cowboy fight Died"...it was sad :(

We got knocked outta the play offs three years ago by Arlington Lamar by a score of 56-0 that also sucked

I can't remember when the last time it was. In '01 we lost to Mesquite 12-3, and of course they went on to win state in Div. I.

As best I can find, it was 1984 and the Dragons lost to Navasota 41-0 in a bi-district game.

The last time North Shore was held score less would have had to been in 93' or ealier. I graduated in 93' and can remember hearing of a many a score less routes through out my four years there. In the Aymond era at North Shore i believe the lowest that has been scored is like 14 points.

Victoria Memorial's was in the 2000 Bi-District playoff against San Antonio Holmes. We lost 27-0. That was Holme's last winning season. They finished 10-2 that year.

I noticed Victoria was on the list for longest scoring streak at 122 games from 1985 - 1995. I did not know that. It makes me wonder who blanked us in 1995???

I'll have to research that.

I'm just glad we weren't shut out by Judson or I would never hear the end of it from Lonny LOL

I don't recall a time we have been shut out but I do know that in our last game last year we held the opposing team scoreless :)

SLC isn't listed for an extended scoring streak on the list. Waco had a streak from 1986 to 1997, but not a long streak before or sincenthen.

That '01 Lee game was the one that Abilene High won 13-0 and held Lee to ONE FIRST DOWN each half. ;) But I believe you guys held them scoreless the next year didn't you? Seems like you spanked them that year. That would make Lee's last time of being blanked in 2002. :)

You're right about 1994, it was a strange season. The regular season win streak was stopped early by Gainesville, and then we barely got into the playoffs going 3-2 in district. We did upset Waxahachie in Bi District, before getting thumped by Dallas Spruce in the Area round. Finished 6-5 overall.

Westlakes streak is impressive, however last year Pflugerville beat Westlake 31-3 and the game should have been a shutout, it was just one of those things. It seemed like they were just trying to get the field goal because of this streak which is understandable. Also, the year before when Westlake lost to North Shore in the semi finals, the score was 49-7, and this game clearly should have been a shut out. It was 49-0 for most of the game, and they had something like under 100 yards of total offense

Yep it was 1997....3-0 to Arlington Lamar. That was a murder schedule those two years...1996 and 1997. Toughest schedule I think in the state those two years.

1997
Area Finalist
Record 7-5
Longview 14-41
Lake Highlands 21-6
Midland Lee 24-23
Arlington High 38-13
Arlington Lamar 0-3
Belton 20-3
Killeen 16-19
Temple 13-9
Ellison 18-26
Copperas Cove 30-21
*Pflugerville 24-6
*Langham Creek 13-16

Was that 3-0 due to great defense, horrible offense, or both?

Judson was held scoreless 33 times between '63 and '84.
The most in one season was 4 in '73.

The last time Copperas Cove was held scoreless was in 1994. Game was against Round Rock and Cove lost 29-0. That was the Coach Welch first year at Copperas Cove. Since Coach Welch, Copperas Cove has only one losing season. That was 1995 and they went 2-8. Since 1997 Cove has not lost more than 4 games in any season.

lufkin was last shutout in 1989 by longview 17-0. we should start another thread on whose defense has the most shutouts. lufkin's defense has had 7 shutouts since 2000. dallas kimball 14-0 2000 tyler lee 21-0 2001 nac 56-0 2002 jt 15-0 2002 longview 14-0 2003 klein 36-0 2004 conroe oak ridge 39-0 2004 not bad!!

i would not doubt it?? especially if you play in a weaker district. i bet a team like dallas carter and ike can rack up the shutouts. think if you played in the laredo district?? you could have 7 or 8 a year. :D

That doesn't include last year. Add 14 for Judson, 13 for Calallen, and 11 for Westlake.
