i agree with all of your picks for Region 4, but Eagle Pass will not make the playoffs, the Div I rep for 29-5A is gonna be Laredo United, NOT UNITED SOUTH, United North, the Longhorns, other than that, thats about it, Judson will win the State Title in Div I and SmithsonValley will win it in Div II....

pretty cool to have BOTH StateChamps come out of the same district and both in Region IV...

The only way Midland will be the rep in Div I for District 3 is if Abilene and Abilene Cooper both make the playoffs. That has happened every year except last year since 1999. Most folks don't think that will happen in '05 however I think Abilene Cooper will be better than most predict.

Most predict that Abilene High, Midland Lee and Midland will be the top schools out of district 3. Lee being the largest of the 3 will go Div I. Both Abilene Schools will always go Div. II being the two smallest schools in the district.

You know the NEISD teams will be together, but you can hope for the Judson guys and SV to be kicked out. Personally, I think Judson should stay in 26 and the other teams be sent packing if they need to be.

Winning titles is doubled-edged. You want to win it for yourself, but you can be proud of the district, too. I say 26-5A pulls the double title for the 2nd time this year. 1995 was Judson and Roosevelt.

Yeah, it does give me a lil pride to see teams that beat us by 3 touchdowns (at least) are on to win State.

But I think Judson will leave 26-5A and be replace by the new NEISD school. If that happens then 1. SV 2. Churchill 3. Madison/Roosevelt/ maybe Reagan.

The only way Memorial will be the Div I representative will be if Aldine, IKE or Nimitz don't make the playoffs, which is unlikely. One if not two of those teams will be in the playoffs and they are bigger than Memorial.

everyone isn't. they lost too much and have few replacements in the lower classes due to central opening to win many, i fear. they'll be in the hunt, but 4th at best.
