Cheers to the UIL on this one. The hype is getting out of control for a non-district game that will ultimately have no impact on how either team finishes the season. Don't let high school football get sucked into the corporate landlords running the NFL and NCAA.

I got to agree with KT on this one. Part of me would like to see the game (even though I wont be home to watch it), but I think all these live high school games will ultimately hurt the sport more than they will help.

Anybody know if the game will be shown tape delayed?

Can't the UIL forbid Tyler Lee from playing the game?Schools have been playing out of state teams for many years! What would they use as a precedent to "forbid" it?

Forgive me, from the summer of 99 to the summer of 04 I was absent from the US and before 99 i was in elementary. So I really didn't know that they did play out of State games.
