I have not seen his presence on here for a long time! Not that I really mind. However I loved to read when he got into an arguement with somebody. Loved his my state team is better than yours position. He was always wrong but nobody could convince him of it.

Wide got him banned last year. What I heard was that Concha sent Wide a threatening PM and the admins banned him. It was over the UT - Ohio State stuff.

He wasn't as wrong as some of you make him out to be. Also he had some interesting insight to the actual football game that wasbeing played and though I may be in theminority I found a lot of his post very imformative.
Also, isnt the whole argument you pointed out what everyone else on this board was guilty of for arguing with him?

I never did get to read much of what Concha said. I was so busy working up through the UT-OSU game that I didn't get the full effect of what was being said.

I tend to believe that a guy from Ohio who argues for his team will be looked at as being in the wrong with a majority of the posters on here regardless of what he says. Human nature says to hate the guy who disagrees with you no matter how he frames his words. I have nothing bad to say about Concha. If arguing with Wide makes you bad, we sure have a lot of bad people around here!:D

I never had anything against him. In fact I would give him hell in the forums for speaking his mind, at the same time we were exchanging PM's carrying on legitamite discussions about football.

Concha did say some things on the baord after the friday night gamethat were prety bad, and if he did PM Wide and said the things he did which I believe did happen then the banning was worth it.
Being from Ohio or not Concha did know his football and its a shame he could not have continued to post.

I've always been somewhat in the middle on this one because Wide used to bait people into saying things. He would make them mad enough that they'd go outside the lines, too.

Concha is knowledgeable but he has this "GottaBeRightest" mentality that is extremely childish and never ending.

He is never wrong - If you want proof, just ask him.

Concha is still active on texashsfootball.com and Yappi.com

He is a moderator on texashsfootball.com and he still belittles other posters

I think the majority of us on this site (myself included) all suffer from that mentality.

the thing about concha is, was that he'd put forth some very good points, then you'd make counter points, and then he'd start to argue something completely different with new points.

he could never admit when his logic had a flaw

That's 100% right.. But, there is one dude on this site that is like that also and his call name starts with an "F".

One of the reasons I never visit those sites..

I've had some good discussions with Mr. F. He's passionate about what he thinks, but he's not a butthead that won't ever give in. You better bring a good argument because he's going to give you stats and info and all kinds of stuff. Neither one of us would give in over the Trinity-Judson game last year. We became better friends after that game.

and who was guilty of doing just that last week after I simply stated that I would trust a NFL scout over your thought. you turn it into college football and the migthy big 12. pot meet kettle.
You also are guilty of everything that you say I am guilty of so once again dont go all acting like your innocent of that yourself. Cause if I looked hard enough trust me I could find many times you were guilty of just that.

But Mr F proved that he knew what he was talking about once the results of that game were in :D
Thanks for the compliment.

Anybody know what Concha supposedly said in his "threatening" PM? I've read a lot of Concha's posts on various sites and I've never seen him threaten anybody. I don't believe he would do it, even in a PM.

When I think of Concha, I always envision the wizard on "The Wizard of Oz."

All mighty and powerful behind the Curtain (Computer Screen) But in real life, he is a nobody.

He would be the one we would all pick on if we knew him in person. Everybody hates a "know it all."
