Why is it that Carter is always highly ranked, knowing that they've only gone so far in the playoffs year after year(after continuously being highly ranked?)

they usually have a lot of talent and usually are 10-0 or 9-1 at least!! the problem is they usually have to meet an east texas team early in the playoffs. ;)

I wish Coach Allen would have stayed at JT. He has had alot of talent at Carter, I don't understand why he hasn't been more successful there. Did he leave JT for pay, or did he see lean years ahead as far as talent goes at JT?

I guess a 33 - 4 record the past 3 years for Coach Wilson at Carter is not very successful, huh.

Coach Wilson is a great football coach. We played against his TJT team twice in 2000 and they gave Katy all they could handle in the State game. I predict that this could be a breakthrough year for Coach Wilson and Carter. East Texas team or not.

I think he means going further into the playoffs.

In Wilson's first year, they lost in the 2nd Round to Longview. 17-7
In year 2, 3rd round to Leander. 11-9
In year 3, 2nd round to Mesquite. 28-27

carter is a solid team but you have to admit it is not hard to pile up the wins in their district.

I'll be coming 300+ miles to watch the game....It'll be a lot closer this year ;)

I didnt make it out to last years game, (went to Lee vs Trinity instead), but hopefully I can make it to this years :D. Should be a good matchup!
