Dear THSF Members

Unfortunately, our host will not allow us to correct this problem immediately. It appears that a hacker who we had thought we had stopped in his tracks was still able to penetrate to our mass email and send out that spam message that some of you received. Our host blamed this on us and suspended our account. We are working it out but it's a slow process due to a lack of cooperation on the host's part.

We at TexasHSFootball.com never send out spam emails. We are working to restore service as soon as possible. Thanks.

Texashsfootball.com was there when this site was temporarily down. Hope THS.com comes back stronger than ever.

KT2000 speaks the truth!!! Don't know anything about hosts or running a website but heed the words of KT2000. Him and KTchamp got this site back up and so far so good. Appreciate your hard work and goodwill towards THS.com.

That's the hacker's spam that's being automatically sent out. It's something or another for eamania.com and has nothing to do with THSF.com

THSF will never send out spam emails. Ever.

KT2000, we were going to be changing hosts anyway, but this experience has led us to a desire to make a more speedy change.

This is a mess. That spam message is why our host pulled our site for awhile - they thought we were sending it out. We aren't. So we get the site back up and the board continues to mail out spam. Ugh.

We will be fine in the long run. We were going to change hosts anyway, but the lack of support our host gave us last night just cost them another few months of business.

Lonny you should get their E-Mail address and start getting to know these guys, it might help us in the long run, then again it might not.

P.S. I heard one of these guys was Mark Cuban, he is a bitter man.

I'd like to thank everyone for the kind words during this troubling time (and I know it's troubling - I had to retype that sentence 5 times! :D). After we get THSF back and I get a little more free time, I make sure to post more over here even though I'm a 4A fan.

The host is beginning to cooperate. They let us put our site back up. The boards are still down because we still have not been able to fix the hack. They should be up soon.

Texashsfootball.com has been through a number of hosts and this one had a very stable platform which kept the site up a maximum amount of time. Hackers are the scum of the earth, imo.

RocklandDragon - The message board security holes will be fixed by the Commissioner of the site. However, last time I checked with him, he was having internet connection troubles. That is what is causing the delay.

RD - I don't know the progress of the district previews. Those are not my expertise. My responsibilities are to moderate the message board, contribute to our regional rankings for 4A and 5A (and 3A-2A Region 4), and occasionally manage a special feature (this year I will be in charge of a high school pick-em contest)

To whom it may be concerned:

I have been away for the last week. We are working on a fix for the site and working hard to solve the problems. After I had returned to the office on Wednesday, I could not access the internet for two days until some maintenance was done on my internet connection (and its still not perfect just yet :mad: ). In the next day or so, I am going to be working on getting the many problems resolved.
