Are you some kids Mother ?? I have to say that I'm extremely impressed with some of your football knowledge. I'm only thinking this because of the MOM in your user name. So what is it ? :)

I was wondering the same thing about LPMOM. I'm pretty sure we wont be starting practice tommorow since we had a pretty tough spring.

It's Lufkin Panther Man on a Mission! Actually, it can be a woman and some of them have good knowledge about football. Our secretary at work knows a lot about football. She even knew to tell her 295 pound son to take ballet and dance lessons to give him better footwork blocking on the line. He never did listen to her and do it, though.

ltown is my 24 yr. old in the navy. he played for lufkin, graduated in 99.
my soon to be 20 yr. old played for lufkin, graduated in 04.
my 18 yr. old played for lufkin, graduated this year, 05.
i've lived in killeen since i was 14 (raised in houston) except for about 8 years i spent in lufkin. thats where my parents and whole family is from.
i moved back home to killeen the summer of 03 so my youngest son (now 16) could go to killeen high (plus i was HOMESICK)! he can't play football because of a major head injury (auto/bicycle wreck). he does play BBall though. me and his father both graduated from killeen high in 1979.
and i'm blessed with a 13 yr. old daughter!

Well alright.. I have to say that I'm impressed by some of your knowledge about football. Hope the boys are doing great wherever they all are now. Take care of the young baseball player. The little girl, I feel sorry for her because she got all those older brothers to put the fear of God into any boys that come roaming around. hahaha.

Keep up the good work. :)

PS. Raising all those Panthers you cant help but get football thrown at you can you.

I dont think REL officially starts until Aug 8th. But, I'm sure all the players are already there doing unofficial workouts.

You mean those kind where all the players happen to show up at the same place and within view of the coaches? ;) That's like the voluntary QB schools in the NFL that aren't real voluntary.

I dont know how some schools in your neck of the woods do it, but around Abilene, there are several small town schools that do a really cool thing for their first practice (I think Anson High just North of Abilene does it as do others). The kids and coaches have their first practice at midnight... which means they are practicing as I type. It's pretty cool. The parents and fans will gather at the stadium under the lights and the kids will have their first practice in the middle of the night.

That's what Pasadena Memorial needs to do to get a head start on the season. Clemens, too! :D

Alright.

Drive your Rascal over to the winning side, the Clemens side, of the BuffaloDome this November and talk to me then.

You know I'll be there. Right now you guys are a 21 point underdog, so you better find 3+ TD's somewhere in the next 3 1/2 months! :D

James Henry --- Thats 12 points a game alone

James Henry with any sort of line that is at least average --- Thats 30

Clemens Defense + New Coach + Bad O line this year = State Title

I don't think he had 12 yards last year, much less 30!

You do realize that last year Judson beat a Clemens team that was without like 5 starters, including 2 on the O line and their QB, right?

They were injured the week before against Seguin.

But whatever. Clemens didnt win the title. Judson didnt win the title.

In the end, they both lost and start fresh this year.

I did know the QB who never threw in Lehnhoff's offense was hurt and didn't play. I heard some other starters were out so I'll call a truce. Did you know Judson lost 2 of their starting offensive linemen for the season the week before the Clemens game in 2003?

The guys on the radio said injuries and I do remember them getting hurt the week before.

Football players don't fail at Judson. They may be on the Carter plan where you pass if you know your name. You don't have to know how to spell it, just say it. It might not be that way now, but it sure was that way in 1988.
