Why did Chase Wassom go to school and what is his status with that team. Is he a qb or what. And did Luna go to Rice or where, and is he playing football or baseball. Luna has a uncle here in Lufkin that I use to work with , but have not seen him to ask.

i dont know the first question but for the 2nd one....Luna is going to Rice to play baseball....

Chase Wassom went to Texas State. I think he got some PT last year. Luna went to Rice on a baseball scholarship,,, but he could of gone to several D-1A schools as a RB. But, when one of the premair baseball teams in the nation offers you a baseball "RIDE" its hard to turn that down. :)

Luna will be baseball the rest of the way. Not likely at all that he would play for the Owls. If you look at it, the baseball team already has Savery, Dotson, Henley, and now Luna. I all four of those guys could start today.

I believe Chase enters his junior year at Tex State as the no. 1 backup. Forgot the starters name, but he's consensus 2nd team all conference this year. Hopefully Chase gets to play some, his size and lack of arm strength appears to be his obstacles, sure it's not lack of desire.

His backing up the Nealy kid that transferred in from Univ-Houston a couple of years ago. Nealy is a pretty solid QB and basically is a poor man's Vince Young.

From what I was told, Savery and Dotson were QB's. I also heard that the RB from Plano East is going there. If I remember correctly he had a pretty decent game against us.

they were athletes that could be rb's in a wishbone formation.

Wasson is in his sophomore year at Texas State backing up Barrick Nealy. He got significant playing time last year when Nealy went down with a shoulder injury. I think he played a lot in the baylor game.

if he does play football at rb he will be one of the best rbs that year...heck maybe he will win the trophy that is named for a former rice coach (the John Heisman memorial trophy)...o well its a good dream
