This week's All-star game......... just an ALL-STAR GAME! its not the end of the world if someone doesnt do good in one of those games. Im only writing about this because there are a certain few people who think just because Chase Daniel did ok in the game that he is a horrible QB. Bad attitude?? just bc someone gets frustrated when makin a mistake doesnt mean he has a bad attitude, its called competiveness! look at Drew Tate! he was so much more verbal and emotional on the field than Daniel is, look at what his competiveness has gotton him! most of you people dont have a life and just like to pick out all the bad things that someone does in a game, why dont pick out the great passes that Daniel made in the game and how he overcame his first half miscues to come out in the 2nd half and throw two great TD passes (only one counted).
Im sorry if this is rude but im sick and tired of people naysaying on Chase bc he didnt play like he did at SLC in an ALLSTAR GAME! and his line didnt help either! they didnt play well at all.

Yea all this fuss is about nothing. You can never tell how a player is gonna perform at the next level. Some guys can go their whole HS career and not loose a game and not be able to translate that in College. Some players don't get invited to the Camps and all-star games and blow up on the next level. Joe Fields and Joseph Addai are two who come to mind. I wouldn't put too much stock in these all-star games, but some players are just products of good systems and go on BELEVING they are that great and then reality hits and they can't handle it...Just my honest opinion.

It is most people's nature to take a guy who has been super successful and zero in on the one day he just does ok in a situation where he is not familiar with his team or the system. Then these same folks will say I told you so..................he ain't gonna make to the next level.

They are like birds on a fence just waiting for a mistake and then they swoop in and crap all over the guy. It is the way of the world.

I would rather have a guy who has been there and gone 31-1 as a starter than a guy who lost regularly. Losing is hard to get out of your system once it takes hold. Give me a winner any day of the week.

I'm sure Chase will be fine.
Roger Clemens got rocked last year in the
All-Star game...does that mean he isn't a HOF pitcher?
No...it's just one game...with a bunch of guys you've never
played with before.

I stand by everything I said because I said some of the same stuff in his last game and they won that one. Nothing I said was based upon the All-Star game.

there's a lot of money to be made in the field of iridology, if you are willing to move to the left coast.

I checked out a website and there could be truth to it indicating health. I know foot problems affect the general health of a lot of people.

As far as the personality stuff I was talking about, I've seen a lot of trends in people. I take people I know and match up their character traits. It's very easy to spot people with a rage or rebellion problem because they have the same kinds of iris, retina, etc. It's like they have flaming eyes. You can tell people that you shouldn't trust, too. For those that believe in spiritual matters, it works for demonic influence, too. I wish I would've always followed my own advice, because I never did like looking at my wife's eyes. I have a 4-year-old daughter with some of the same problems and the same eyes.

Don't they only practice for a week or something before the game? They haven't been in pads for months. They are learning a system from a new coach and adapting to different teammates. Can't be easy.

Anything? Can you help me get my car dealer down from 35000 to 500 on my new truck I am buying Friday? That would make my payments around 9.00 instead of 580.00

You also have to realize he was playing the best of the best on those defenses, which will be the same in college. He will not have the best WR's in the state against just decent DB's and SS's. I just hope that the well rounded talent on the defense didnt mess his game up.

So what Chase sucked in a game, he'll do fine in college, hes a fine young man...this coming from a Coppell kid who had to deal with Chase since he was a freshmen, he competes, sometimes you win sometimes you lose...

Don't get too bent out of shape. Chase proved himself as a high school player and I'm fairly confident he'll have similar results at the college level.

SV05champs does make a very valid point with the, it'll be alot tougher at the next level because his WR's wont usually be on a different level then the db's he is facing. A well rounded defense with all the states talent might have gotten ahold of him. Colt McCoy and Jamaal Charles did fine. I'm glad their going to the good guys.

But then on the other hand, everybody else does have a very valid point that it was just an all star game. When you're going up against the top recruits on defesne and have only practiced with your recievers for 4 days, your bound to have miscues. And correct me if i'm wrong, but if im not mistaken i saw him go from under center in the game, and was that the first time he has ever done that? I know most programs have a high schools offense all the way down through pop warner, and middle school as well.

if anybody uses a single all star game to judge a player's future they need to attend football 101 asap.

If you want to knock somebody for their performance in the All-Star Game, then knock on the North's coach. With the exception of him coming on the field and confronting the ref on the returned TD pass for calling holding, I didn't like anything he did. The South's staff was much more aggressive and creative in their play calling. IMO

Chase was a couple of plays away from having a geat game, as was J.Lane. Did you see the whole Lane was heading through when they blew the whistle for holding away from the play? There was a gap a yard wide and 3 yards deep, with a 140 lb. db coming up as the only thing seperating Lane from the sidelines and open field. That would have been huge, but that's the breaks. Both of these kids did the best they could, and survived the game without injury. That's the important thing. In a few short weeks, we will all see who has what it takes to play against All-Stars week in and week out.
