we had 2 preety good guys move into cy falls this offseason in JP tillman (QB) from nothland christian and Anthony Forker '07 (RB) from Cy Ridge, they should both do well this year as should our team as a whole.

Good to hear about the move in's to Cy Falls!! I had heard rumor of Tillman moving in (and that he was a very good QB) but I hadn't seen where he really did. I'm hyped that he is going to be there along with Brekke and Bruns at QB. I also heard they may move Brekke to running back - any truth to that? He's a pretty good QB and we did well with him last year. I think we are looking pretty good this year too...it was a fun ride in the playoffs last year - looking forward to doing it again!! I just can't wait for that first kickoff on the 26th to get it started again.

i know my school, Sharyland HS in Mission got two brothers from Plano East a QB and a WR, they appear to be pretty decent, QB Rudy LaRock and WR Vinny LaRock....i dont know if any of ya'll have heard about these kids, because Plano is so big, we also got a freshman transfer last Febuary from Houston named Cooper Shockley, he'll be soph this upcomming season but ran track for us as a freshman, he ran 52sec 400m and he's got good size and speed.....we're pretty excited abou this season

Lufkin may have a 2 or 3 coming in, won't know anything until August 8th.

Supposedly a QB prospect and a couple of O-lineman, nothing is certain and is considered only rumors until August 8th.

Too much is made about possible transfers, you never know how they will fit your system or even if they are better than the players you already have in place.

A transfer is not always a positive, unless you have someone like Devine transfering to play for Prosper.

Tyler Lee is suppose to be getting a transfer "LB" from Harlingen Marine Military Academy. He was an All-State caliber player with them in the private school ranks. His a pretty good size kid ( 6-1/205) and he plays LB/DE/TE. We'll see how it pans out. His family is from Tyler and he wanted to come home. :)

Harlingen's Marine Military Academy has GREAT athletes year in and year out......they usually dont play here in the RGV against RGV teams, but when they do, they do usually do pretty well, Harlingen use to spank em' everyseason.....but MMA is only a 3A school...

Ya, I know that they (MMA) has put out some good players over the years. He got some kind of scholarship to go there. His parents are seperating and alot of his family lives in the Tyler so he wants to finish up near his family. I talked to him awhile ago. It was either going to be Tyler Lee or Whitehouse so I'm not really 100%. He told me he wanted to go to Tyler Lee and that he was going to be there the first day of practice ( he already had talked to the coaching staff) so we'll see.

His a scrappy player. I dont think his a D-1A blue chip prospect or anything like that. But, his one of those very solid scrappy Texas average players that is just a hardhead with about (6-1/205/4.7) size and speed. :)
