I like the article in the Dallas News. Shows what kind of serious speed is in the State of Texas. The only reason I'm making the thread is because alot of the kids that make the list for Texas are football players.

Results from the 2005 season were compiled by Jack Shepard (boys) and Mike Kennedy (girls) of Track and Field News (www.trackandfieldnews.com). All race distances are in meters; field events are in feet and inches. Wind-aided times and distances are not listed. Some times have been converted from hand times to fully-automated times for comparison's sake. The top six times in each event scored points based on the University Interscholastic League's 10-8-6-4-2-1 scoring format used for the Texas boys and girls state meets. Relays counted double points, and only UIL-sanctioned events earned points.
