Billy Joe, your answer was close enough for credit though.

Miss Kitty, you got 13 out of 20 correct. You know your old rock n roll.

Sacred Ground

If the 2 of you put your answers together, you will have 18 out of 20 correct.
You made need a clue for one of the answers. The other, most associate John Denver with Colorado, but he didn't call it his mountain momma.

It wasn't his home state. He was born in New Mexico to a military family. Moved around a bit.... was in Ft Worth for a time and went to Arlington Heights.

Now that is a tough one. The only white band that sounded like a black band that I know of was Average White Band. But I think they were from the 80's.

Nope... it is a unique trivia question that shows up from time to time.... Rare Earth. They sang "Get Ready" and later they recorded "I Just Want to Celebrate". They started up with Motown and became very popular in the DC area with the black culture. For months and months they would not release pictures because Motown did not want it known they were white.

One of the lines goes "outside in the cold distance, a wildcat did growl".
