The design has changed considerably, but it will still be one helluva facility.

Yeah, there is a committee of people that send in moles to the UT meetings to find out their expansion secrets so that A&M can one-up them. LOL
Seriously though, I imagine there is a committee or probably a company of sorts that does work with the Universities advising them as to improvements they can make to keep them in the upper crust of Universities. They are probably making a fortune off of what we call a rivalry. LOL

Texas one-upped aggy on the scoreboard. aggy has been planning theirs for a while now and then Texas announces plans for one more than twice as big.

Their indoor facility looks cool IMO.

It may come off as one-upmanship, but I really think its just the natural procession of technology and stuff. As the school gets bigger, technology gets cheaper, and alum numbers rise, additions become necessary.

I agree. aTm is behind the curve a little bit on a lot of stuff and Dollar Bill is doing a pretty good job of catching them up.

Dollar Bill is right. While Byrne is good for the A&M athletic department, he has managed to price me out of A&M season tickets-for now.

He's priced a lot of people out. That is why he's getting online to publicly beg people to renew their season tickets.

I think its important to note that this facility was spearheaded by a donation from a couple. It was on aggieathletics a few months ago i believe. Will be VERY nice. ..some high schools have indoor facilities.. that IMO, is too much. but i guess if you have money...

The McFerrin family of Humble made a donation of $9 million I believe.
