I have been thinking.

Wouldn't it be cool if each week the UIL would allow FSN to broadcast a Game of the Week on Friday nights or Saturday nights?

Like, each week, a big game from around the state would be televised statewide.

They could schedule it so each week it is in a different area.

Like one week up in Dallas for a big game, then the next here in San Antonio, then over to Houston, etc.

That way, fans in other cities could see some big games also.

I wish that the UIL would ease up on restrictions.

I think it would be a lot of fun to see this.

Does Ripley's know you've been thinking? :D

I like the idea, but it shouldn't be like the Dairy Queen Game of the Week. They did have SV-Judson, but some of the other games were weaker.

That no television rule is as stupid as the Wright Amendment that restricts Southwest Airlines. It won't hurt football attendance very much, if at all.

Personaly I dont think the wright admendment is that stupid. In my opinion, southwest could have the wright admendment lifted if they took over some of the empty space at DFW, however they have chose to stay at love field due to it being cheaper for SWA. They have stated that they wish to stay at love field, love field is not big enough to handle any of the traffic or congestion that would come with this admendment being lifted, this is just my opinion, but it has never effected me one bit, its not that hard to take a flight to Houston to catch a connector or Austin for that matter.
