Abilene High's Taylor Potts and Lyle Leong is hard to beat.
Highland Park's Matthew Stafford to Holt Martin or the Dickenson twins is a good one too.

One I like the best...
Taylor Potts to Lyle Leong, Abilene
What I think it will be based on stats for 5A...(stayed up all night thinking about this one, I did :D )
Greg McElroy to Clint Renfro, Southlake Carroll
Others...
Pierre Beasley to DeMarcus Conner, Spring Westfield
Chris Hall to Courtney Lockridge, Abilene Cooper
Austin Hutson to Kyle Drabek, The Woodlands
Whoever (Bryan Hill as of now) ends up throwing to Cody Beyer, Smithson Valley
Terrance Cain to Chris Riser, North Shore
Andy Dalton to Michael Fuda, Katy
Preston Hill to Tyler Fleet, Tyler Lee
Whoever starts to...all of the South Garland receivers
Jeremy Claybon to Dez Bryant, Lufkin
Will list more later.

claybon to dez bryant, ralph thomas, ej shankle, t gordon, and m raines. ;)
packattck, i honestly think r thomas is the best wr of this extremely talented group even though dez bryant has all the physical tools that a wr could want. watch out for m raines also.

i'm sure few outside the city limits here will believe me, but there are at least 3 wr's here who won't get much pt(the silly rules only allow 5 wr's at a time) who may, if they choose be capable of playing at the next level. i doubt that there are more than 2 spread teams in the state for whom they all wouldn't start. we have a true embarrassment of riches at that position. so in answer to the querry, the best qb-wr combo will be whoever the defense decides is the 4th or 5th rec in our lineup. the 5th best db will be hard pressed to cover him, whoever it is.

Expanding this from Combo to Trio:
Greg McElroy to McKay Jacobson and Clint Renfro is not bad.

I like our combination with Drew Dunn/Josh McKinnley throwing to any of the four out of Travis Njuko/Brett Schroeder/Billy Allen/ or Curenski Gilleylend.
But as far as the state of texas goes, i think until proven other wise, it has to be Greg McElroy to Clint Renfro

R.Thomas is a great receiver. He has phenomenal speed and leaping ability. He also runs a pretty clean route. Remember that diving catch he made against pville to set us up on the pville 2 yd line? That was awesome.

i just predict raphael will have a break out year this season barring injuries or being suspended for games like last year. ;) he is a phenomenal athlete that is just a natural playmaker. he has q holman type of potential. of course dez bryant will be wicked but we already know that. he is basically impossible to play 1 on 1. if shankle can work on his catching he will be very tough with his 4.3 track speed. t gordon is a very tall wr capable of causing serious mismatches. m raines has very good speed and probably runs the best routes. with all that said, i would hate to be the secondary going up against those guys. you have basically 2 guys on the outside that are 6'3 6'4 and 3 guys on the inside that have great speed. if the offensive line can block and if claybon turns out to be as good as many think the passing game will be absolutely lethal this year.

We have 5 DB's that are 6'2 or taller that run a 4.5 or better. just bring your A-game to P.A. September 9th. I dont mind eating crow if need be but i doubt if I have to. ;)

Our own combination of Joe Mauro to DeAndre English during 7-on-7 seemed to work against every team we played. I would watch out for that combonation this season. Even against the best teams like SLC, Lamar, Grapevine, Austin Westlake, and Summit this combination was sucessful.
Watching other teams during 7-on-7, Lamar has a nasty combination of their quarterback "Strickland, #4" to their reciever "Agnew, #11". It burned us both times we took on Lamar because he knew how to get open. They crushed SLC 49-20 or something in Pool Play at the CHHS tournament in the first game as this combination really stood out.
When we played SLC after they lost to Lamar, either Clint Renfro wasn't there, or was playing defense. Their quarterback, #17, seemed to not have a favorite target and threw to everyone evenly. Although when he threw to #11 wide open in the end zone he dropped it. But none of the SLC recievers really burned us consistently and we only lost by 5 points due to a blown call. One of their recievers, I believe #15, stood out the most.
Grapevine had a good combination of their quarterback, #8, throwing to a reciever, #1. #1 also played defense so he can become versitale.

the lamar rec was good. he will be dangerous on the play action passes they run, as everyone starts cheating up. they are a running team and as such use surprise to increase their passing efficiency. i look for good stats from those 2.

Wow.. high expectations for the Hill to Williams connection. I also think that Wr- Jacob Amie and Te-Tyler Fleet are going to be two other big targets for Preston Hill this season.
