hey ya'll i'm back, spring practice don't give much time for me to be on the net as much as i used to, but n e way, we have 3 D1 Commitments already from FB Marshall, some say it can be too early, and others say its never too early, well here they are
Jai Cavness (RB) - TCU
Tyrone Sonier (DE) - Kansas State
Kendrick Matthews (DB) - Kansas State
:D well, i'm proud of my teammates, just to make it to the point where they are offered on the spot, its a good thing seeing 5 different recruiters a day in our fieldhouse and at our spring practices... well they aren't the last to commit i believe, there have been offers around, and these are the 3 who took em' quickly...
oh yeah... watch out everyone, this year we have the BEST D-Line in the State..... "Hands Down" Doubt Me??? *keep watching* :p
lol
well glad to be back chattin' with ya'll, and oh yeah the Nike Football Training Camp was great!!!!!!!!!

off the top of my head, i can't think of a single reason anyone should fear the buffs. it is helpful if teams have that fear, but what has marshall done to merit such respect? your district mates don't spend all their waking and practicing hours planning and preparing for the buffs.until they do, i doubt the rest of the state is having anything approaching fear.
good luck on a good spring training.

well, this would have to be the year we put fear into all of ya'lls hearts now wouldn't it... the reason you can't think of a single season where we have done something to merit your respect, is because we've only had 2 seasons... we have to start somewhere, and next year we're starting with ya'll lol... too bad ya'll were too tied up with playing ya'lls first game on TV, we sure wish ya'll could have traveled down here to play us... but of course ya'll wouldn't why should you when ya'll will see us in december :p .... hehe, i just love it when we're ignored..

I don't like to look in the rear-view mirror, if i have passed it, its forward march, tired of looking in the past, i'll save that for old age... i did that for 3 months after we lost, and all that game gave me was depression and 20 extra pounds lol.... but now it is my Motivation.... and Katy, pssh so what they choked against Southlake, we were prepared to play Katy in the 1st round last year, we found out we were playing Strake at the last minute when they lost to Cinco... i wanted to play the "Big Red Machine" lol, shoot i'll play the Texans if i could...

Is it 3 brothers or 4? I knew of Jai and Trevor. So is it just Tony or is it one more. Their dad played for Willowridge....I coached against Jai and Trevor in PeeWee(I think they played for the Mo. City Hurricanes)

Now he is ragging on a state power that lost to the #1 team in the nation in the finals last year. Even called them chokers?? Huh?? I would not say a word if my team lost in the 1st round to Strake but that is just me. I admire the confidence but some of his comments are bordering on stupidity. I am sure you are a good guy and a good player but it is time to get out of la la land.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm taking all his comments "Tounge in Cheek".....I mean notice the "LOL's" and "smileys".....Don't think he's ragging on any team....just proud of his like most of you are and he's confident. He and his team seem to have set their goals pretty high...nothing wrong with that. Marshall has been around for only 2 years....but I will be looking at them a little closer this year to see what all the fuss about. I know for a FACT that they have a little speed out there.:D

I think BigtimeO-line is excited and just having fun with us. I like the spirit.
His team and every other team get a chance to prove things next fall. That's what makes it fun.
I have read his comments for several months and they always are positive, and always for fun.
Keep talking to us BigtimeO-line.

i'm not tryna "rag" on them by saying they choked, i'm saying it because i've watched them play all year, and their state game, IMO was their worst game all year honestly, i was rooting for the BIG RED the whole time while watching that game, and they just didn't play up to their ability that night, the only one who did was Will Thompson!!!!! I BELIEVE that Katy was suppose to win that game, not get pile drived up and down the field... they had every tool to win against SLC, it jus seemed to me wit all the hype and stuff surrounding SLC that year, Katy went up and saw the Blondy guys in the black and green and got nervous... **** happens if you ask me WE choked against Strake, we walked out in the 1st play-off game of school history, had all the tools to beat them, looked out to the biggest crowd we've ever seen (not counting our rivalry game against WIllowridge from 05') and we got nervous, it happens, it doesn't mean that the team is bad...
but too clarify, the reason i seemed to "brush" Katy off, is because our team was mentally prepared for Katy since week 7, after the Rita incident, we were Yearning to play Katy, "Our School's Big Beak" the game that got our program its respect for the years to come, my team would been alot more focused going up against the BIG RED Machine... because we play harder when we think we have something to prove, we thought we had Strake beat from the moment they announced it on the PA while we were shutting out Kempner, our mistake.. and it will never happen again
^^^^^ DANG thats alot o' typin'!!!!!!!!

in actuality, our D will not be soft this year by a long-shot.... i know ya'll read of me saying we will have the best D-line in the state, well thats still true, but now i'm expanding the "best" word to our whole D, last year our D was the weaker half of our team, now this year it WILL be our strongest, i really believe this with my heart after our practices and scrimmages, it isn't every day a Defense somewhat shut-downs an offense who was #1 ranked during the most part of the regular season last year....
and I had the most horrible practice yesterday, and it really depressed me, being a returning starter messed up on probably 80% of the plays i ran, just embarrasing, to the point my coach jus took me out and put me on the sideline... and the worst thing about it was the Mizzou scout was there watching me :( , well o well, i can't do nothing about it now but move forward, well maybe in my piss poor playing yesterday, i managed to help get our D-lineman and LB's a few more looks, lol, < wow in reality that hurts in some odd way.....

i'm betting btol is one of the few who believe losing to a better team is considered choking. as most have seen over the years, a really superior team can make the underdog do things differently and look worse than they are. that is not choking, because the underdog is not in control of the situation.

in reality, kt's best game wasn't enough. you are disrespecting the winner when you say the loser choked. in this case the winning team created the unbalance, and forced the breakdowns. albeit rare for kt, these errors weren't unforced.
