San Antonio LBJ high school will open in 2008 in the NEISD. Does anyone know which schools they will draw students from. Probably Reagan huh?
BTW - LBJ is Lady Bird Johnson, NOT Lyndon Baines Johnson.

Reagan & Madison from what I hear.

Also, by the time that school opens, Reagan should be at a near 5000 enrollment.

Even with 5000, they still won't win. I know the area is growing, but that's a lot of extra kids in a 3 year period.

I heard enrollment is currently at 3200+ there.
I have also heard rumors of all high school boundaries being pushed north to even the number of kids out at schools. Should this happen there is no chance for Roosevelt or Lee to drop to 4A anytime in the reasonably near future, if ever.

Roosevelt or Lee shouldn't be in 4A anyways; we already saw what happened the last time Roosevelt dropped to 4A for two years. They wouldn't have even been one of 26-5A's best teams in that span, yet in the San Antonio 4A district they ripped everyone apart by literally 50+ points a game. Even if they they or Lee do drop to 4A, they should at least be in the Hill Country 4A district where they would have to fight to earn their playoff spot.

You are right about that.
Good thing they will both stay 5A because if either dropped to 4A, they would rip all the 4A teams in the area apart with maybe 2 or 3 exceptions.
I hope Lee does well this season. I really like that program.

I hope Lee does well, too. The team really plays hard for the coach and at least Judson had to play harder for their 60 points last year.

Although they played very very dirty in 2003 against Clemens, I still wish them the best.

Maybe the plumbing was messed up in the field house! :D
Seriously, it always looks funny for the Northeast ISD teams to jump on the bus right after the games instead of cleaning up in the field house. Me and the girls sat on the Lee side for the Judson game last year and it looked funny seeing them just run and jump on the bus.

Ha.
We wish a dirty field house or messed up plumbing was the only dirty things Lee did that game.
In 2003, Lee had a bunch of late hits on my boy Andre Booker(remember him, the best rusher in the city that year, had more yards than Chauncey Campbell-2nd best that year- even without Clemens having any playoffs games). After all the late hits people thought Booker was injured on another late hit and that is when Booker's dad ran on to the field and started jawing at the Lee coach.
Very interesting incident that went down.
I will remember it forever.

Where is Chauncey now? Is he playing anywhere?
I think Booker transferred to UH after playing for a year at Texas State.

I'm pretty sure Booker graduated after the 2002 season. I remember his dad running on the field, but forgot it was Lee. He's at UH now.
He wasn't better than Chancy who had more yards that year. Chancy had to share with Fox and came out in blowouts. Chancy had an attitude, didn't study, was hurt as a senior and didn't go anywhere.

Just looked on the UH site, and no Book.
Guess he either transferred or hung 'em up.
I hope for the first.

Chancy was 1st team All-State for some people. Booker was great and they had Daniel Jolly running crazy on the other side of town that year, too. Clark had some underappreciated soph. RB around that time, too! :D
Booker had more yards during the regular season, but Chancy got an extra 5 playoff games to pass him. I think he ended up with around 2200-2300 and it seems like Booker had 1800, but could've topped off at 2000. Fox had over 700 in mop-up duty that year.

Booker played for UH last year because he was listed in the program when I went to the UH-Miami game. ESPN doesn't show him this year.

Yea, I remember seeing him listed last year, but I wonder what happened this season.
I hope he is still playing somewhere.

I liked T.C. a lot. He would always get you the tough yards for a first down.
