Mixed feelings about that. Sometimes it pains me to see where Farve is compared to where he used to be. He is a joy to watch anyways. Just don't watch a game where Madden is broadcasting his game.

I don't know I think that was more Jerry Jones than Emmitt. Jerry could have prevented that from happening.

favre is no doubt, one of the best qb's of all time....as much as i HATE the packers and how bad favre has killed us, but damn, i respect him....him coming back, will IMO ruin what he had...he doesnbt have that good of a supporting cast, and it'll just be another miserable year for him and the pack

coming back with a better team to finish on a good note wont make his legacy any worse. in fact, it cant go bad. what that man has gone through and how tough he is, no one can say this was a stupid move imo. cowboys suck.

favre will definetly have a better year this year imo. hes got ahman green who is getting older but if he stays healthy, at least favre wont have a new rb behind him every week. if the pack can work through this javon walker thing, that would be another deadly weapon for favre to go to. the packers also got rod gardner who caught 650 yds. a couple of years ago and marc boerighter who hauled in over 400 2 years ago. i think the packers will sign aj hawk and they just god charles woodson so the defense will improve. might give the bears a run for their money if all the pieces fall into place.

Green Bay has to address the WR position if Favre wants to do anything but suck. Walker is trying to get out of Green Bay and they released on of the aggy receivers they had (Murphy I think). Problem is that this is not a good year for WRs in the draft and I don't think there are a lot of free agents. I know Denver has been shopping Ashley Lelie around, but they want to much for him.

heh, and last I checked, the Panthers shut you out. Bravo! ;)

IMO, Favre's legacy is getting hurt because he held his team hostage. He threatened to quit if he doesn't have a good team. Yet, the Packers didn't do anything, and he stayed. The only thing he did from that was he made his teammates see him as a "bad guy". Would you trust the guy who wanted to quit on you because you suck as a player? No.

Don't kid yourself, just as the Yankees are in the basement of the AL, Favre will NOT have a good season. The Packers aren't very improved, and Favre might have divided this locker room.

And about the Giants, the Cowboys and Redskins will make the playoffs (not sure who takes the division), and where does that leave the Giants you may ask, the Giants will be exactly where the Cowboys were come January, sitting on their arses.

PS - Don't kill me at lunch tomorrow!:D

no, no, no lol.

Jacob said he was a bigger fan than you. I wanted to see, so I asked questions that I didn't even know the answer to, to see which one of you knew it.

Quit thinking you outsmarted me lol. Extremely nice site though.

He is making the Packers better this year than last year with the upcoming draft and Charels Woodson coming in from Oakland.

Damn, that's wrong. What's worse is that I'll be watching in pure glee.

Sorry (not really), I'm no Packer fan. :D

t's not Favre that made me dislike him (the fact is he didn't do all that well against the Cowboys). Its the fact the media made him into the immortal one that couldn't do no wrong. Favre never made mistakes. Always apologizing for Favre's interceptions or bad decisions. They'd bash on Troy Aikman or Steve Young for making bad decisions.

I'm not too worried about ruining his legacy. The future HOF has his superbowl ring, many pro bowl appearances and MVPs. He came back because he loves to play the game. I can respect that.

well you have simply broght this on yourself my friend. stick to football on your analysis. im not going to bring baseball into a football area but tb and baltimore will falter, toronto isnt as good as everyone projected. but going back to football, im sure favre did not divide that locker room. hes the leader in that area, and guys look up to him. ive seen interviews, these players are glad he's coming back to a BETTER team.
