***TICKET INFORMATION FOR TYLER LEE-CINCINNATI COLERAIN***

Tickets to the Kirk Herbstreit Classic Doubleheader will be available at the TISD athletic office from August 4th through September 1st.

Advanced tickets are $15, which includes both games, Tyler Lee-Cincinnati Colerain "and" the game involving the schools from Westville, Ohio.

Tickets will be $20 at the gate.

The TISD AD's office number is (903) 262-3079.

There's also an option to get a ticket to the high school game for those UT fans and boosters attending the college game the next day, but that goes through The University of Texas Ticket Office.

has anybody or does anybody with inside connections checked on the possibility of some of the UT band members supporting Tyler Lee during the game. if they could just get a group togather and at least sit in the stands and play something!

Sorry if I'm slow on this - but is the Lee/Colerain game the same weekend as UT/Ohio State? Man oh man - what a weekend that will be! I'd love to chat up Kirk Herbstreet if we take care of business at both ends - don't want to think about the other side of that coin though.

Try to get all the Texas people to sit behind the team in the stands. It would be better to have a 1,000 Texas (REL) fans and backers sitting behind them in the stands than 3,000 screaming Colerain (Ohio fans) yelling and screaming at those kids. ;)

That would be really cool if some of the UT band members would do that. If about 15 to 20 of them would go with their equipment and get some Texas band music going in the stands. :)

I have no clue where they are sitting the Tyler Lee fans....I do know if you are a Longhorn fan and have a ticket they are doing a special deal for them through the Texas ticket office. I think there will be alot of Texans at both games.

Well, I hope they dont rope off a little section in the corner of the stands for all the Texans. I've seen it done before at another "high profile" cross border game and it had an effect ( I believe) on the visiting team (Texas team). Because there was about 3,000 fans of the other team yelling everything under the Sun at the Texas team. ( I know because I was there and saw it).

They should have a section roped off right behind the REL bench for about 3,000 Texas and REL fans.

If they stick 4,000 or 5,000 Colerain/Ohio fans right behind the REL bench that is 100% wrong in my opinion. So, it well be interesting to see where these tickets for the Texas and REL fans or seated in the stadium.

Dear Tyler Lee Fans!

While we would love to help out, our travel plans do not permit us to
lend a helping hand. We will make a one day trip with our pep band for
the Ohio State Game, departing and returning on Saturday only.

I wish your team all the best in its contest!

Maybe you didnt read the post right. If they have seated # tickets for the game. It will be interesting to see where alot of the Texas tickets are #'s (seated) for the game.

I was at another high profiled Texas vs Another State game a few years ago. (Out of Texas),, Guess where the Texas alotted tickets were seated ? In the corner of the visitor stands. They had a nice little section roped off about 45 yards away from the team. Who was behind the Texas team in the stands ..... an assortment of the other schools (Band and students). Now is the right ??? No, its not goodsportmanship but it was planned that way for a total intimidation factor.

All I'm saying is I hope that they have enough "CLASS and sportsmanship" to allow the Texas and REL backers to sit behind Tyler Lee in the stands. :)

Oh, my bad. I agree with the class thing. Your just asking for trouble when you don't put the fans on the same side as your team. I know our fans will be behind our team but dont know about the rest of Ohio. I dont know how it will play out with a game before hand.

Ya, I dont think the tickets are all general admission. So they must be numbered to assigned seats. I know there is a game before the REL vs Colerain game. What do those people do. Do they have to move to another section or do all the Texas (REL) fans have to take a backseat to them when they show up for the 2nd game. I know alot of the first game fans are going to stay for the big Tyler Lee, Tx vs Colerain, Oh game.

Some people might not think this is a big deal.. But, I say its a huge deal that can be easily overlooked. If I was Coach Owens (Tyler Lee) I would of made a point to make sure the Texas/REL fans got the section right behind the bench (no matter what).

Having 2,000 Texas /REL backers at the game wont really matter much when they are scattered among 20,000 Colerain/Ohio fans all over the stadium.

I think there will probably be a few 100 Univ-Tx fans come to the game.. Then I heard something about Tyler Lee was leasing 3 or so buses for fans.

When it's all said and done. There will probably be about 500 or so Texas/REL backers at the game in person.

It will be alot like Custers Last Stand because the Texans will be outnumbered like 20 to 1 at the game. :(

Like I said.. hopefully at least the Texas element that is at the game will be allowed to sit behind the team in the stands.

BLACK-OUT OHIO

Everyone since Colerain primary color is red......everyone going to the game should wear BLACK (since this is part of Tyler Lee colors) that way we can distinguish who is who.......

BLACK-OUT OHIO!

You'd think the tickets that were given to REL would be together and on the same side as the team. Hope it all works out for the REL fans. Have a safe trip to Ohio!
